Beck is definitely OCD...... I know he paints, but I think he may need to take more time off and not stay up reading all night. Interesting he is now studying Gandhi.

RE: “It gets harder and harder to be a conservative when you are not in the least bit religiously inclined; everyone thinks you’re a troll and going straight to hell. Boring!”

I’m with you! Never a fan of any organized religions myself, though don’t care what others believe.

RE: “No more milkshakes & ice cream after tonsil removal. Been that way for decades. Frozen popcicles sometimes with morphine for the pain.”

Interesting — as one who had tonsils out around 1956 at age 7, I can say that docs definitely were peddling ice cream in the hospital ‘ward’ at that time. I still recall that ice cream did NOT appeal to me and I had nothing until I got home and ate popsicles for days, until I switched to..........potato chips! Yep, that’s when everyone knew I was all healed up!

There are so many holy rollers on FR. It’s a great site but I get a little fed up with all the lectures.

“I’m pointing out that demanding just a link that merely points outside of FR doesn’t necessarily prove anything just because it’s not from a Freeper.”

And just because a Freeper posts something doesn’t make it true. Fanaticism is running wild on FR.

There are so many holy rollers on FR.

That is the way conservatism is, the religious are political conservatives, while the non religious are overwhelmingly liberal, it is the nature of things.

Also, "FR is pro-God, pro-life, pro-family, pro-marriage, pro-military, pro-traditional American conservatism and it is a privilege to post here."

Hmmm. I know many VERY religious people who are extraordinarily liberal, and non-religious types who always vote conservative. Go figure...

I’m sure that you see have seen exceptions to a fundamental general fact involving 120,000,000 people, but it doesn’t change the fundamental truth of voting.

The more religious, the more likely conservative, the less religious, the more likely liberal.

Even off the top of your head, do you really think that the atheist vote ever goes conservative?

I don’t know why our fellow Freepers don’t understand the idea that one can be a conservative and not be religious. I was raised in a very strong religion and a deeply conservative family which gave me the moxie to understand right and wrong. I don’t choose to practise religion (I firmly believe faith is a talent like dancing or singing and I don’t got it) because it also came along with a lot of dogma and nasty clergy.

We all go through it, but not all reflect on it, or reflect on it in a spiritual sense.

And just because a Freeper posts something doesn’t make it true.

Individual skepticism is necessary to surf anywhere, including FR. Reader beware.

But if three known freepers post 1st-person accounts of a radio broadcast, then that may have more weight than one poster doing it, and in some cases may have sufficient weight to avoid getting hammered for a link.

So let's not have "truth police" running around on threads determining what is proved by a link elsewhere and what is not. Otherwise, FR just becomes a rubber stamp of the msm meme.

Thank you for the link. I apologize for having offended anyone.

Often, these days, I find leftist media reporting distortions of what has been said. Even on the right, Beck has lots of people who seem to want to take him down.

That is a very gracious acknowledgement and apology. I hope others are as gracious in accepting it. Kudos to you.
