American Jews, 78% of whom voted to make Barack Obama president are continuing to move away from Obama and his policies. According to a survey conducted by the American Jewish Committee (AJC) , 51% of Jews approve of the way Obama is doing his job. While that number may seem high keep in mind that the AJC poll conducted in March 2010, showed the president with a 58% approval.

On a National level, the minuscule Jewish vote only makes a difference in a razor thin election.

Not Alinsky himself, but his tactics aren’t working - like ‘isolate’ and ‘ridicule’ and ‘overwhelm the system.’ I think the suggestion is that whole segments of the population that the socialists tried to manipulate are finally pushing or even fighting back. So the Alinsky tactics themselves are what are no longer working.

The number of votes matter some because they are concentrated, but much more important than the votes, would be the influence and money that would represent.
I am thinking a bit further back, as far as devout/fundamentalist, e.g. 15th century.

You are right about Frank. Of course people forget that he was persecuted by a progressive Democrat prosecutor and newspaperman. Then again, I pay attention to Crown Heights from 18 years ago, and Freddy’s Fashion Mart (and Sharpton is a respected figure!).
Longshanks was a bastard to all. However, the UK stopped being Catholic almost 500 years ago, and CAthilics have dropped thier theological animus towards Jews in the last 50 years. Crypto-Jews began immigrating under Elizabeth I and Cromwell alled actual Jews to settle.
