I couldn’t think of any until later, not off the top of my head. you are a liberal.

Does that mean that in your world, in order to be conservative, everybody must be dumb and ignorant when it comes to the SCOTUS?

I'll give you a glimpse of my world: In my world, we don't let Faux News tell us what to think. In my world, Conservatives go out and spend time looking at what the most powerful judicial body in the United States is doing. Time spent watching Faux/CNN/MSNBC is time not spent reading about what Nobama and his cronies are trying to get passed through Congress or what the SCOTUS or the lower judicial bodies are doing.

I'm challenging you to turn off Faux for one night, and to spend an evening looking through SupremeCourt.gov and GPOAccess.gov/bills and see what is actually going on in the world. Spend an evening looking this stuff up on your own to see in the SCOTUS' own words, or Congress's own words, what they are doing, without anybody filtering it for you.

And God help us all, they’re going to think what Wolf Blitzer leads them to think.

Wolf Blitzer can only effect the thinking of the independents in his audience. All fourteen of them...

I think Castle showed exactly what he is made of by the way he handled himself in the primary and afterwards. Not a very pretty picture.

I sure hope that the people of Delaware realized that Christine was debating three people! The moderators were arguing with her on several points as if THEY were the ones debating her! And CNN wonders why their ratings are in the tank!

“Yeah, I think she did OK. There were times when she slipped a bit but this debate was not on national television. The moderator’s were extremely bias against COD. It was probably viewed by only political junkies”

CNN and C-Span are national television. And they could have shown the debate right after House on the same channel and only political junkies would have watched. What COD needs more than Coons, is money. After tonight’s impressive showing, maybe the junkies of the country will pour money into her campaign. I’ve said it before, Delaware is the 3rd least populated state in the country yet is senators carry the same powerful vote that California’s two senators do. So it behooves out of state voters to contribute to her campaign. Maybe they will now.

Reid wins, right?

The issue is getting out the vote. Depicting COD in any disparaging way is what the media does for a living and I watched the debate solely in order to get my own depiction. Palin has age and experience and should be adept at debating such as Coons. COD did an excellent job holding her own against this Coons jerk who has an insufferable attitude that would have thrown a less self assured person than Christine. COD has the intelligence and interest and passion for this senate job and has not been spoiled and corrupted by an easy life. She has an inquiring mind and the toughness to make a good senator. If DE voters choose that jackass over her it will be their loss. She handled the SC question honestly and Coons only came up with one answer so he was not real swift either. My husband turned the debate off because of Coons but I am glad I hung on. Christine did an excellent job and I congratulate her, what a breath of fresh air!

You’re predicting a Angle loss, an Ayotte loss, a Fiorina loss, a Whitman loss, a Haley loss?

All these women we have running are going to lose is what you’re saying, because men always beat women? Unless they’re extremely masculine women?

I think you’re wrong. If you have a link to your theory that men always beat women when times are bad, I’d like to see it.

I agree. But MSM will attack O’Donnell not matter how well she does. I have noticed the relentless attacks on her while not a word about Coons. What has surprised me is how frantic Jay Leno has gotten about her. Either she has rejected him or he has a huge bet on the outcome. He is not the only one.

Will now? Will continue to? Over $4 mill since the primary. But it’s always good to have more for such a great candidate that we most certainly do want to win.

I’ll give details and ask for corrections if needed from others who heard. Husband and I having a great time with sound byte.

But first, listen to Rush...the talk shows. It was the sound byte of the night...the way it came down...precious, priceless.

And give Wolf Blitzer credit for allowing Christine to slam the ball right down Coons’ throat, caught him dead to wrong.

O’Donnell asked Coons if his company...GORE I think it is...will benefit from Cap and Trade laws and if so, will he recuse himself from the bill.

For some reason this question was about to be bypassed or maybe Coons gave it short shrift, gimme help here cause I note a couple others on this thread got it. So Wolf stops the conversation from going on to another topic and asks Christine what products Coon’s company makes that might benefit from Cap and Trade.

Pause again folks. We all know Cap and Trade is a hot topic and more than anything it’s probably why O’donnell beat Castle like a drum. Castle, a House Repub, voted FOR Cap and Trade. Also, Cap and Trade is NOT a big thing Delawarians are all that happy about, even the libs.

So Christine answers Blitzer that Coons’ company makes....GUESS WHAT?

FUEL CELLS!

Come on guys. Laugh and jump up and down right here. go ahead, I’ll wait.

I don’t know what the hell a fuel cell is but it sure sounds like something having something to do with energy that sounds like something needed for proper Capping and Trading and I bet the rest of Delaware will see it that way too.

So Coons almost literally slaps his bald head and says..as I paraphrase for comedy...”OH FUEL CELLS! DAG I FORGOT ABOUT THEM!”

I’m jumping around the room, husband over in corner laughing. He’s slapping his head and imitating a busy and forgetful Coons who DONE FORGOT ALL ABOUT THE FUEL CELLS!

And it’s not like Coons got out of it graciously! He stumbled and bumbled and meanwhile husband and I are dancing and having the best laff of the day. Coons mumbles, I’m not making this up, about his company makes dental floss and dag with all this...

...WELL HE DONE FORGOT ALL ABOUT THE FUEL CELLS!

It was a Mastercard PRICELESS moment.

It’s the sound byte that will entertain y’all all day tomorrow and it’s the sound byte that will cost Coons the election.

As well it should. He was DELIBERATELY avoiding the topic and got caught red-bald-headed.

“Karibjanian has been the face of Delaware television news for more than two decades, best known as the anchor of WHYY’s former nightly news program “Delaware Tonight.” During her 24-year tenure in public broadcasting, Karibjanian helped reshape local news to a mix of daily news and in-depth coverage of issues affecting The First State.”

No wonder the people of Delaware are so screwed up...I can just imagine the damage caused by this propagandist over the past 24 years...I thought New England women were nasty...this one takes it to a new level.

Republicans always blow the abortion question.

They should always stress the physical, psychological and emotional effects that abortions have on women. Furthermore, there are increasing findings of associations of abortions with breast cancer and other serious problems.

The abortion industry is not about helping women. It is about money, about $6,000 per abortion, I think. A sizable fraction of this money goes to Democrats.

Repubs should stress these issues. Otherwise, they will be hit with the "will you prevent abortions in the case of rape or incest ...?" There is no politically satisfying answer to this qiestion.

The superior COD. Yes, of course, to us. We know what we think, and we know what she thinks.
You and I and virtually all freepers did not even need to listen to this encounter. We already made the right choice.
But I’m sorry to say, a hell of a lot of people who vote, DO still listen to CNN. They absorb television. Wolf B is just one of many people who can still tell mentally flaccid, VOTING people, what to think.
You might be amazed — or shocked, disgusted, horrified — at the reasons people vote for one candidate or another. It isn’t always about ideas.
Sometimes it’s against COD and her high voice. Sometimes it’s against Coons because he wore a copen blue shirt, a claret red tie, and an olive green jacket all at once.

If Christine wants to talk about WL Gore there’s a lot there.

Look up PFOA. I posted a bunch of articles on it here yesterday i think.

it’s poison, and it’s used in the manufacture of gore-tex.
Some say that 98% of Americans have PFOA in their bodies.

Coons makes millions poisoning people, it seems.

Christine can’t really say that, but young voters who lean Democrat who go to UDel would be interested in reading how Chris Coons is poisoning them.

Really obvious to me. I hope most Delawareans, even die-hard democrats, caught that and at least listened to Christine and thought about her responses. If they did, they may come away thinking she is the right choice. Again, it's pretty obvious Coons is a pet of the administration and will vote the Reid-Pelosi-Obama party line. Is that what you want Delaware? I still think this election nationwide is a Referendum Election. This election is about the survival of our Sacred Republic. We'll see on November 3rd. . .

Karibjanian is extremely jealous of Christine. Karibjanian was unbelievably nasty to Christine. Wolf was ok, not anywhere near as bad.

If I was Christine, my next ad would be clips of Coons from this debate of all his snide, arrogant comments and then a voiceover, “Do you seriously want this prick representing you? Really???”

Not a bad idea!

I disagree, I think she tied or lost tonite, when she needed a win.

She needed to TAKE CONTROL of the discussion tonite, and when the NPR wench wouldn’t let her, she should have DEMANDED Control.

Instead, she seemed to let the hostile moderator and Coons walk all over her.

A good, LOUD “excuse me, can I FINISH?” would have done wonders for her, and her image.
