Thursday, October 14, 2010 Email to a Friend Advertisement The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Thursday shows that 27% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as president. Forty-five percent (45%) Strongly Disapprove, giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -18 (see trends).

Fifty-two percent (52%) of Democrats Strongly Approve while 76% of Republicans Strongly Disapprove. Among those not affiliated with either major party, 20% Strongly Approve and 51% Strongly Disapprove. Other demographic breakdowns are available for Platinum Members. So are updated ratings on how the president is handling the economy and national security issues.

The key to your post is “self-proclaimed Christians”. Who of course would see no problem with anyones religious preferences...or practices. Each to thier own as is so often stated by those of a liberal mindset...anything goes in the area of belief.

Nominal Christians (Christians in Name Only) tend to pick up bits of Christian language and terminology. I’d bet MO heard someone reading a Gospel passage about Jesus casting out unclean spirits and concluded: Unclean spirits are bad, therefore clean spirits are good.

Unfortunately, born again Christians hearing her say that immediately spot the falseness in her statement, and tag her as a non-Christian.

There is only one clean spirit, the Holy Spirit, and He is God. None of the Obamas seem to know that.

I think the true number is -18 and all the peaks and valleys are just statistical noise. The real question is in which districts are these approval/disapproval voters? It’s all adding up to a very good November for the Right which is all that matters.

Barry would have been eating ice cream, reading from the prompter and assuring America Republicans were at fault.

He also would have been saying "I this" and "I that" in just about every sentence. And, he would have said, "If that mine doesn't send those guys out, I'm going to kick its butt!"

Or, "What is the problem with these American engineers, showing off trying to get these guys out? They should not be embarrassing the Chileans with all that hi-tech stuff. The Chileans are perfectly capable of getting these guys out. Eventually."

Or, "We should have an outreach to the muzzl'em countries for them to bring their best equipment in to do the job. If every muzzl'em in the world brought a shovel to Chile, we could get these guys out in 30 seconds!"

Pres. Pinera thanked every world leader by name, all those who took the time to pick up the phone and call him, that is!

Pinero pulled his country together. Pinero genuinely cared about the miners. Contrast that to obama's behavior after our soldiers were massacred at Fort Hood.

Many Americans followed yesterday’s mine rescue in Chile.

Notice how the Chilean President and his wife were on hand for most or all of entire rescue operation, from miner #1 to #33, hugging each and together the group sang patriotic songs. You just wouldn't see that here. Obama would fly in for the last one to be lifted out, take credit for the entire operation, give a teleprompter speech reminding everyone how awesome he is, then fly back to the golf course.

You are right! There is NO poll that should be trusted, the science of polling is really lost now in a partisan media.

They ALL use different methods and they ALL ask more Democrats, the science of polling is dead now. The polls really only influence people now.

George Gallup was a wonderful Christian man and a pioneer in polling, but he is long gone now.

And now they average the polls,that is the biggest joke of all. Newsweak, NYTIMES etc release openly bogus polls and this is included in the average.

I thought the First Lady of Chile was awesome. She kept the families engaged and somewhat relaxed while their men were being lifted out. Michelle could never have been that gracious.

Every week, some 45 year old Mom who voted for “Hope and Change” has been told she has to pull the wagon by herself. That her work horse hubby has been laid off.

She's then told that both kids going to college are moving back in. They will be working at the local McDonald's, after 160,000 dollars was spent on their education that is still due on the credit card.

She then has to tell the third child who wants to go to college that he simply cant.

She then gets an Army recruiter telling her son how wonderful it is serve as a walking target in Afghanistan.

This is happening all over the country. Reality has met Hope and Change, and it ain't pretty.
