President Barack Obama makes legitimate, mainstream arguments when he says it is dangerous for millions of dollars in untraceable funds to be used to fund political attacks and also charges that Republicans have been insufficiently responsive to his attempted bipartisanship.
But his current response to these problems represents a peril to Democracy and the proper functioning of government. By waging unsubstantiated rhetorical assaults on his opposition, and then demanding that they prove their innocence, Obama is headed into the domain of demagoguery — maybe even McCarthyism. An ominous place for a sitting president to be.

Oh is it time to audit Obama’s campaign spending now? McCain agreed to an audit but Obama did not, all those unprecedented donations unchecked. About time!
This is what it is all about—force contributors’ names to be made public so that businesses will be afraid to donate any money to Republicans, because they will be targeted by left-wing activists (as has happened recently with Target).
What “attempted bipartisanship”? Is Obama referring to his sneaking the Cap and Trade bill through the House at 3AM, and only one hour after the text was made available? Then for his next act of bipartisanship, and Health Care Reform was pushed through the Senate st 3AM the day after he was assured of enough votes from his own party to get a narrow majority.
As for Politico’s other example of a legitimate, mainstream argument by Obama, who really believes that Obama is opposed in principle to receiving millions of dollars in untraceable funds?
This guy has made a joke out of representative democracy as is his real intent.
And let’s not forget that the Rats seriously considered and pursued Deem -n- Pass for Obamacare, before they figured out some other way to stuff it down our throats.
Oh, and then they swore up and down on a stack of Bibles that the requirement to purchase health insurance was an “individual mandate,” not a tax.
Then as soon as they got challenged in court on their lack of constitutional authority to impose an “individual mandate,” they swore up and down on a stack of Bibles that the requirement to purchase health insurance WAS a tax, not an individual mandate.
Then these cretins have the unmitigated gall to announce in public that, if the Republicans win a vast majority in November, that then “maybe the Republicans will start cooperating with us”?
That doesn’t even make any sense, in addition to just being plain stupid.
The resulting creatures are a powerful race bent on universal conquest and domination, utterly without pity, compassion or remorse. Various storylines portray them as having had every emotion removed except hate, leaving them with a desire to purge the Universe of all non-Dalek life. Occasionally they are shown as experiencing other emotions, primarily fear, although such occurrences are rare.
Does a candidate for President have to agree to an audit of his contributions? If so, unbelievable!
Zero had all those small contributions ($200 or so) from untraceable credit cards.
Where was this guy when The One was demonizing anyone who is against his socialism a white racist? That was okay? How about Bammy officially classifying everyone who he hates a domestic terrorist.
