ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) -- Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin on Saturday urged a roaring crowd of Republicans to exhaust themselves over the next two weeks to take back California and the country for the "little guy."

The former vice presidential candidate addressed more than 2,000 supporters at a Republican National Committee rally in Orange County, a conservative stronghold in a state where Republicans hope to make gains this year.

It is hard to believe that the elections are only two weeks from Tuesday. It seems we have been such a long time in the wilderness since the 2008 elections, but now here we are, at the mid-terms, with good prospects.

I am not much of a dancer but I can still turn a pretty good somersault so I anticipate doing a somersault or two on Election Night.

She was red hot, was glad to see she didn’t fall back
on any of those pat sayings from prior speeches.
I believe for anyone who is paying attention, this speech
will mark the start of her run for the Presidency.

I agree..this speech was brand spankin new..she said things today I had never heard her say before so this was an extra special treat. If she runs in 2012 she has a great shot at winning which is why liberals piss their pants whenever they hear her name

I will be happy.

However it must be said we should not fall into the same trap the libs did when they elected their messiah.

To be realistic we can’t expect the repubs to actually win much the next two years. With Mr Veto in the WH. Also we will still have enough turncoats in the ranks to screw things up (RINOs). Further this will give Obama, the rest of the remaining dems, and the media two years to blame all the crap Obama’s screwed up on the repubs who “control” congress. they’ve done this already the last two years, there’s enough dumb people out there to buy it because that’s all they hear from the puppet press. Just keep repeating the lie long enough and people believe it.

See they don’t even have to get people to believe it’s ALL the repubs fault. They will tell you that you aren’t being fair, repubs deserve part of the blame. You can’t be so biased as to believe it’s ALL the democrats fault, that’s just not looking at reality. Many will cave in to this rationale.

We have to hit the ground running against this strategy that IS 100% going to be implemented November 3rd. They will be teh peacemakers calling for working together. All the while slamming them every chance they can. They will blame all the problems we have now, from their last 4 years, on the repubs now.

Like the final scene in Return of the Jedi? Not quite. The good side of the force may take the Imperial Senate, but the Emperor will still be left standing strong.

Well, why wouldn't you think the same thing? You're both bars.

This is not a case of premature rejoicing, sillies. It's a rallying cry at, guess what, a rally! Does a good coach tell the team before the game that they're going to be crying when it's over?

I hope people don’t get too cocky. It’s not over till it’s over. Keep up the good work through election day.

Heck, they are blaming the Republicans now and they have no say whatsoever! I have had to correct them again and again about that in the local forum I go to. They say its the Republicans fault that Obama can’t get anything done, or the Republicans blocked this or that. I tell them some of the Democrats had to join them, then because the Republicans have no power. That shuts them up for awhile but then the very next day they will be back on the same thread telling the same lies.
