Washington (CNN) -- Bipartisanship is in the eye of the beholder, it seems, as Democrats and Republicans ponder how cooperation between them can improve after the upcoming congressional elections. The voting on November 2 is expected to diminish Democratic majorities in both chambers and perhaps cost them control of the House. Whatever the final tally, widespread voter dissatisfaction with the hostile political climate in Washington is evident. Democrats blame Republican intransigence, calling the GOP a "party of no" that has opposed almost every initiative to undermine President Barack Obama's campaign pledge to change Washington politics. Republican leaders say their opposition is a response to a left-leaning agenda pushed by Obama and Democratic leaders that far exceeds what the public wants. In a new development this election cycle, the conservative Tea Party movement wants to throw out both parties, but its agenda aligns it with Republicans in the heated campaigning.

Not a good spelling day apparently!
ABSOLUTELY CORRECT! Now why did it take until the 6th post on this thread for this TRUTH to be written? (The 5 posters above you should be ashamed of themselves..)
"I think we're going to have some bipartisanship when it comes to replacing the health care bill with a more moderate approach," Graham said. "You'll see some Democrats and Republicans working early on to try to moderate things."
According to Graham, the Tea Party movement has helped refocus the national political debate on a center-right agenda, but added that conservatives shouldn't get carried away.
"Our Tea Party friends have done us a favor, "Graham said. "But if we talk about doing away with Social Security as part of our agenda, then we're going to lose the public. ... If you get too far right or too far left, you're going to lose the American people."

Wow...McCain's gang, talking about replacing Obamacare with "a more moderate approach." Tea Partiers needs to give this RINO Graham the electoral zot in 2014.
The ones inside the Beltway already are.
As for the real question - “Can conservatives and liberals work together?”
No.
If they do, there will be a LOT more changes in 2012.
I think the newly elected Republicans in Congress should work hard to help those Democrats who lost CLEAN OUT THEIR OFFICES AS FAST AS POSSIBLE! There, how is that for working together?
If ANY pubic works with ANY lib, he will ONLY be a one termer.
New world emerging. Get with it.
Same crap, different year.
Never did...
Whatever happened to freaking Obama saying “We won!” Freaking media twits.
Republicans can and do.
Conservatives cannot, and will not.
If you mean by “help” to stand behind them and repetitively kick them in the arse to make them vacate the premises faster, then yes.
If ANY pubic works with ANY lib, he will ONLY be a one termer.
New world emerging. Get with it.

Yes. We WILL eat ‘our own’, raw and without salt.
Lindsey, Lindsey, Lindsey. You are looking pretty plump and tender.
hahahah! I knew it! Let’s make a deal..it never ends.
I hope not. Government is only good when it does nothing.
Sadly, this is only asked when the GOP is going to win. When the Dems win, the dems say “We’ll work in bi-partisan cooperation” and the press eats it up with a spoon. In fact, they make fun of anyone who suggests otherwise.
That is a stupid and ignorant question.
Funny, I never saw any articles like this back in 2006, when the Dems were on the verge of taking over the Congress.
HELL YES!!
Funny this clown Tim Cohen did not care about the dimoKKKRATS working with the Republicans when the dimoKKKRATS had all the power. Now that the Republicans might be in charge Tim wants everyone to work together. What a bunch of bovine excrement.
