Republican Senate nominee Christine ODonnell of Delaware is calling out the Republican establishment in Washington for not helping her underdog campaign.
In an interview on ABCs This Week that aired Sunday, the tea party favorite said she has asked the National Republican Senatorial Committee for help but that the group is standing on the sidelines even though her Democratic rival, Chris Coons, is getting a boost from his party.
A spokesman for the Republican committee, Brian Walsh, has noted that the group gave ODonnell the maximum direct contribution of $42,000 and is working with her campaign.
The committee is not spending heavily on ads as it is in closer races elsewhere. Polls show Coons with a strong lead.

Didn’t the Delaware GOP already make that clear?
How is this a surprise?
Gee...now there’s a shocker.
The thing that ticks me off is that Castle should have endorsed her and Christie should be down there campaigning for her.
These guys are sore losers and should be expelled from the Republican party.
Murkowski should be booted as well.
Exactly the reason why I give to individual candidates and NOT organizations.
The GOP establishment is as corrupt and evil as the damned DNC!
If the right doesn’t pull this off on November 2nd look for a disastrous revolution! We can only hope the salvation will be in the form of a Francisco Franco!
Sorry...Castle should be thrown out of the Republican Party. I’m willing to give Christie the benefit of the doubt because he’s got his own things to worry about in NJ.
It really is disturbing to know that many Republicans would prefer Castle, who is about as conservative as Ted Kennedy.
OK its correct now... LOL
need to let GOP know what we thing about that.. they should know by now
LOL. You’re knocking ‘em out of the park!
Cornyn and Romney USED O’Donnell’s name and face
to raise funds and won’t release them to her.
Hmmmmmm.
There must be word for that.
The RNC elites (Karl Rove, et al.) have made it abundantly clear that they love RINOs and hate conservatives. That they’ll let O’Donnell risk losing because they don’t like the candidate the Delaware Republican primary voters picked is contemptable and why it’ll be a cold day in you-know-where before I give the RNC a penny of my money.
I’ve said it before. If (God forbid) Murkowski wins, she will make her decision on who to caucus with based on whichever party gives her the most power. That means, if the Dems get 50 seats, she will make it 51.
If the Republicans get 50 she will stay in the tent. But it means absolutely nothing to her. The only thing that matters is her personal power and position.
If the GOP doesn’t get it’s shit together, we will be referring to them as the Whigs.
Well, Duuhhhhuuuhhhh.
Not surprising at all, the GOP behaves the same way all over the place when they end up with candidates they don’t like.
RINO ho’s?
Man, I’m looking forward to voting against Cornyn. I’ll vote for anyone who runs against him. Or write in a name.
