This is a confusing message and serves the republicans absolutely no purpose coming out two weeks before the election.
Firstly - there is no “current gridlock”. The liberal dems control EVERYTHING.

What is to stop a Republican Congress from simply passing small bills one at a time as riders on bills Zero can’t defend vetoing ? Like gutting the EPA as a rider on the bill extending unemployment benefits for one month ? Then adding medical malpractice tort reform as a rider for the next month’s extension ? etc.
