Washington state senator Patty Murray wasn't shy about her support for Obamacare during a recent debate with Republican Dino Rossi. He tries to use Murray's words against her in a new ad:

Murray leads Rossi by 4 points in the RCP average of polls.

Hope this is an effective approach - the good people of Washington state truly need to wake up and smell the coffee, so to speak.

Considering that the majority of Americans are against Obamacare, this might not have been her finest moment.

Murray is making absolutely the correct move here.
The voters are going to be holding her responsible for her vote, pretending that she didn’t know what was going down with obamacare isn’t believable.
The only sensible move is to stand up and make the case you did the right thing.

If Murray wins then maybe in 2 years when the full effects of this monstrosity of a health bill are felt, they can go after Cantwell and try to beat her.

There’s no way Osama Mama has read the obamacare bill, there’s tens of thousands of words with more than four letters in them.
Good ad, but I’m still praying for a blizzard to hit Seattle on election day (I’m guessing that’s where her strongest support is).
A blizzard won’t make any difference. Washington state is vote-by-mail.
