Wow, it's SO UPLIFTING!

There are now almost 14,000 comments on Yahoo. Semtiments such as "Liberalism is a mental disease" and "NPR ought to be defunded" DOMINATE.

We are the majority.

Looks like Juan is AWOL from the Leftist Plantation. Send out the bloodhounds.

Shaun and Juan Show?

I luv it! I rarely agree with Juan --but he's a lot easier to look at than Colmes.

NPR has always sucked and is long past being defunded.

That's almost NINE THOUSAND comments! So far (and I've barely brushed the surface), they mostly think NPR is acting in a turdly manner.

It's now close to 18,000 comments, most running negatively against NPR.

There is nothing more painful to me ... than to walk down the street and hear footsteps and start thinking about robbery, then look around and see somebody white and feel relieved. — the Reverend Jesse Jackson, as quoted in US News, 3/10/96

umm...muslims did kill us on 9/11; and they've been killing us since (and before); and they're killing people all over the world...

And NPR can't have that being said?

Search my posts and tell me how many times I've said that Islam owns the media.

I sure wish you could hear Larry Elder right now. Man o manischevitz. Basically he's saying that Juan has moved to the center over the years and NPR doesn't like it.

Larry's a keen observer, and is right on the money.

Of all the lib talking heads, Juan Williams is perhaps the most analytical, which is why his positions on things are slowly evolving. He's got enough personal integrity left, that he's willing to give reality a fair hearing. The left cannot tolerate that, because it undermines their carefully glued-together fantasy construct.

But, I'm actually tickled at this development. The moonbats at NPR just handed the Republicans an unexpected gift of ammo, only two weeks out from the election. It's perfect!

Yeah, the funny thing about Juan Williams is that -- back when we had broadcast TV (we don't now ... the digital switch was beyond our ken in spite of the conversion box!) and watched our local FOX affiliate broadcast of Fox News Sunday -- even though Juan was an idiot, it was impossible not to like the guy. Other liberal pinheads were hard not to loathe and hold in contempt. But something about Juan was so likeable and so sincere. He came across as a sweetheart and an honestly misguided person, whereas most liberals come across as willfully ignorant and arrogant in that ignorance.

I guess that's the key: Juan Williams has never come across as arrogant to me.

And I do agree that this is really a great development, as much for Williams as for conservatives! He will gain much from this gaffe of NPR's.

Agree with you about Juan Williams’ personality. He’s one of the few libs that I don’t dislike, for all of the reasons you mentioned.

He’s just never come across as arrogant, dismissive, condescending, or mean - which are all hallmarks of liberal behavior.

He’s got to be having one of the best nights of his life. He’s suddenly a hero to millions.

The folks at FOX did say he one of the fun guys to be around. Never a bad thing to say, just a viewpoint that differs from the right. (I just gave CPB a piece of my mind, and I hope many do)
