That is why I’ve never volunteered to be an organ donor.

If that gave you the willies (and it should), read Larry Niven’s “The Jigsaw Man” if you haven’t already. That short story is very scary on at least a couple of levels.

"...the Fiesta grocery store at Main and Kirby..."I would not go into that store unarmed. They do not like white people there, I have noticed. I noticed the second and third time too, which was my last time I'll ever go there. Also, cars get burgled in that lot.
I live about one mile from there, just off Buff. Spdwy.

Excellently written descriptive image.

It said her Mother was disabled, was she in a wheelchair? No, but they did park in the HANDICAP SPACE.

It’s referred to as “electioneering” or “campaigning”, and is not allowed within, or with in (varies by jurisdiction) feet outside of, the polling place.

It’s ILLEGAL to wear clothing or have signs that endorse a particular candidate NEAR the voting booth. It’s been that way for years and it is RIGHT to enforce that.

I wonder what would happen if someone tried to go and vote wearing a Palin T-Shirt?

I just ran a google maps view of the area, since my older days at Rice. Where is Astroworld? Where’s Jones College? Ahhh...I must be getting old.

Yep, it is called Electioneering. Any and all political paraphernalia are prohibited from the voting area. This can include pins, pamphlets, shirts, hats, etc. I even had to remove a Masonic pin one year (I assume the poll watcher didn't know what it was and thought it was political, but I didn't raise a stink.)
