Why Americans Are Mad
Canada Free Press ^ | October 19, 2010 | Richard White

~snip~

Let us go, let the Americans lose on the deficit, the budget, the environment and the economy, and the entire world would fall back on the heels. We know that. We all know that! I believe you know that too.

Get out of our way! Get your pompous egos out of our faces and let us fix this country before we treat you the way we treat people like you in our world of free enterprise.

We have no illusions of how bad you are at governing! We had better things to do than to babysit your childish backsides until now. Now we have lots of time, thanks to you fools.

We don’t want to compromise with you, we don’t even want to hear your BS until you admit that it was you, that is right, all of you senators and representatives that made the rules that have screwed up this country. Admit it!

Until then, get out of our way! We will make a clear set of rules everyone will understand, everyone will follow and that will favor no one group over another! We want everyone to succeed!

Get out of our way ! You have failed to address any issue without making it worse! What absolute failures you are!

I've been looking for an article that speaks to a tactic of the leftards, more particularly, their persistent and incessant drumbeat that government should "DO SOMETHING!!!" Amongst other things it implies that government should stick its nose into anything and everything, apparently limited only by there being only 24 hours in a day. The dinomedia naturally joins the chorus to create a wonderful refrain, "We,re from the government and we're here to help". And we are encouraged to sing along by following the bouncng ball.

I submit that Jim DeMint and a few others are more in keeping with what our Founders saw that the purpose of government is/was limited to protecting our God given rights and our borders and very few others. That government should "GET OUT OF THE WAY" and let Americans do what Americans do best without interference from a bloated nanny state. We need to point out to our present crop of office holders and candidates that "getting out of the way" is actually "doing something". I'm all in favor of a "do nothing" congress.

The whole point of the left stating “the government should do something” is so that they can feel good about themselves for advocating something be done,
without having to actually DO anything themselves.

It makes the left tingle all over with that touchy-feely feeling. Like when a white liberal meets 0bama: “Wow, aren’t I special! I touched an African American man and favored him with a smile”.

Heh. Gotta wonder if odinga experiences feelings of inadequacy because he wasn’t around to help Ayers make explosives back in “the day”. Truth be known, odinga’s brand of explosives is much more insidious and many times more dangerous.

The Left is comprised of people that are simply put impaired. They cannot comprehend a society of self rule. They cannot comprehend small government. A government that takes care of the grounds, the security etc. as a say management company, which is a good analogy of what the Federal Government should be per the original intent I believe.

So here we are after about 230 years (close enough), still fighting for that elusive small government our forefathers intended. Still fighting with impaired people that only understand, as I’ve posted before either a Monarchy, a Dictator, a Strongman, Mother, or some form of Centralized Government that allows them via Government benevolence to live their lives as instructed.

There are those as described above, and those that take it a step further, and want to be those that are the Governing benevolent. No matter they are the Left.

How to reach the people?

Great article! Yes. Americans do feel that way and they are due to vote accordingly very very soon!

Agreed that's part of it. Operating with OPM instead of your own is always an easy go and that's what they count on for the votes from their coalition of victims. The ones that actually vote anyway. Which raises another issue: Is this election so important to them they will be willing to push the dead and fraudulent vote to unprecedented levels? It's already happening with early voting in Harris County(Houston), Texas along with many other urban cess pools I'm sure. The good news is, at least some of it is being caught early. How much will make it through the process without benefit of legal niceties? I believe this election will see extraordinary levels of voter fraud. It has turned elections before.

The question of the century IMHO. First they have to be awakened. I'd give that a check mark. They have to become informed of and about our founding and our Founders. Partial check mark. Study and understand our Constitution, written in language that's comprehensible to even grade schoolers. Partial check mark.

The simple truth is, the middle of the country nodded off for a couple hundred years or so. Hard core conservatives and those oh so squishy "swing" voters(most of whom lean conservative) actually make up about 2/3 of the electorate. Waking up the middle and getting them on the right track has been the key for decades. Odinga may have been our best ally in that effort. I know gun dealers have sung his praises for a couple of years, heh, heh. Maybe we on/in the right will soon join in praising him for FINALLY waking up the sleeping giant. ;^)

I can hardly wait to see what Nov 3 brings. I hope and pray the country has awakened and are in the process putting the feral beast back in its chains...before it's too late.

Nap time in these piney woods of East Texas! Will check back later.

“Maybe we on/in the right will soon join in praising him for FINALLY waking up the sleeping giant. ;^)”

That comment of yours reminded me of an email from a friend in S.Carolina that I received just this morning:

“A Different Slant On The Obama Presidency

One 82-year-old lady loves Obama But for reasons he might not appreciate. She says that Obama is amazing, and is rebuilding the American dream! She gives us an entirely new slant on the “amazing” job Obama is doing, and she says that she will thank God for the President. Keep reading for her additional comments and an explanation.

When discussing Obama, she says:

1. Obama destroyed the Clinton Political Machine, driving a stake through the heart of Hillary’s presidential aspirations - something no Republican was ever able to do.

2. Obama killed off the Kennedy Dynasty - no more Kennedys trolling Washington looking for booze and women wanting rides home.

3. Obama is destroying the Democratic Party before our eyes! Dennis Moore had never lost a race. Evan Bayh had never lost a race. Byron Dorgan had never lost a race. Harry Reid - soon to be GONE! These are just a handful of the Democrats whose political careers Obama has destroyed. By the end of 2010, dozens more will be gone. Just think, in December of 2008 the Democrats were on the rise. In the last two election cycles, they had picked up 14 Senate seats and 52 House seats. The press was touting the death of the Conservative Movement and the Republican Party. However, in just one year, Obama put a stop to all of this and will probably give the House - if not the Senate - back to the Republicans.

4. Obama has completely exposed liberals and progressives for what they are. Sadly, every generation seems to need to re-learn the lesson on why they should never actually put liberals in charge. Obama is bringing home the lesson very well:

Liberals tax, borrow and spend.
Liberals won’t bring themselves to protect America .
Liberals want to take over the economy.
Liberals think they know what is best for everyone.
Liberals are not happy until they are running YOUR life.

5. Obama has brought more Americans back to conservatism than anyone since Reagan. In one year, he has rejuvenated the Conservative Movement and brought out to the streets millions of freedom loving Americans. Name one other time when you saw your friends and neighbors this interested in taking back America !

6. Obama, with his “amazing leadership,” has sparked the greatest period of sales of firearms and ammunition this country has seen. Law abiding citizens have rallied and have provided a “stimulus” to the sporting goods field while other industries have failed, faded, or moved off-shore.

7. In all honesty, one year ago I was more afraid than I have been in my life. Not afraid of the economy, but afraid of the direction our country was going. I thought, Americans have forgotten what this country is all about. My neighbors and friends, even strangers, have proved to me that my lack of confidence in the greatness and wisdom of the American people has been flat wrong.

8. When the American people wake up, no smooth talking teleprompter reader can fool them! Barack Obama has served to wake up these great Americans!

Again, I want to say: “Thank you, Barack Obama!” After all, this is exactly the kind of hope and change we desperately needed!!

November 2nd is HUGE!!!!”

Respectfully,

A typical American worker, tax payer and one of 300 million of your employers

Actually, Obama and the democrats would respond:

"We are working to get the work done that the American people sent us to Washington to do, and, you aren't those Americans because you obviously didn't vote for us and therefore, you're not my employer and you don't count."

Classic! Makes one wonder doesn't it? I mean, what else could have awakened the sleeping masses? Is there something else at work here??? Nah, can't be... In any case, I have a newfound respect for my fellow Americans, even though it took a jolt to the system for them to bring 'em around.

The thing that truly worries me right now is the voter fraud that is rearing its ugly head once again. BIG! Can it be contained enough THIS election that we can be assured our votes count? My suspicion is the Dims will let it all hang out this time. Absentee ballots found in Harris County, Texas that an audit revealed many of whom NEVER sent ballots in. They had no intentions of even voting. Motor Voter or acorn or whatever at work. I fear the fraud is worse than many of us even suspect.

Indeed. Something like we're not working for the people pulling the wagon; we're working for the people riding in the wagon. News flash for odinga and his fellow travelers: The people pulling the wagon are tired.

IMHO, the RATS have carefully orchestrated a MASSIVE election fraud scheme. They know it is the only way they maintain power.

I feel our candidates must win by at least 4-5 percentage points to fight back against the fraud.

7pm ET on Nov 2 will be an interesting time.

John I hope you’re ready. Double redundancy on everything.

My gut tells me the same thing. And I agree, conservative turnout will have to be in unprecedented numbers(as usual) to offset this despicable and treasonous fraud. One has to wonder just how blue blue states really are. From the governor of a blue state down to precinct "officials", blue states have absolutely no incentive to police their own. Who's gonna do it? They have been brazenly manufacturing votes for so long with no consequences they must feel it's their birthright or something. Damn them all to hell!

Fraud. Agree with you. It’s truly a problem we have to address. The Liberals are a minority, and it is in their strange perception that as they are the minority they have the right to cheat, steal, whatever it takes to win against the majority of Americans whom lean towards the right, or are of the right.
