We Are All Bigots Now

The firing of Juan Williams by National Public Radio (NPR), alleging that he was guilty of bigotry during a recent appearance on Bill O’Reilly’s FoxNews Channel television program, is another case of political correctness mixed with demagoguery run amuck.

Here are the “horrific” words that did him in:

Exactly. If you see someone in Muslim dress boarding the same plane that you are boarding, and don't feel at least a twinge of fear, you are not open-minded, you are stupid.

Not long after 9-11, I was in line to board a plane. The security staff was going down the line doing a count, pulling every "x" passenger aside for an extra check. The couple standing in front of me was obviously Muslim; the woman was covered except for her face and hands. The count passed over them, over me, and landed on the middle-aged redheaded businesswoman behind me.

I was furious but of course could not say anything. I was also quite sure that, had the count landed on this couple, it would have somehow "stuttered" past them and ended up on me.

Then when I got on board the plane and was seated, the man in the seat next to me opened his newspaper. It was in Arabic. I thought, "Oh, great, I'll bet they didn't check him again, either."

I spent the rest of the flight trying to figure out what I had that could possibly be used as a weapon, and watching these three individuals for any suspicious movements.

I still keep a suspicious eye on my fellow passengers when I fly.

I don't think either Juan Williams nor I are necessarily bigoted, nor that either of us need psychiatric care.

Brit Hume described NPR as fostering a “howling double standard” on FNS this morning. If you didn’t catch the panel discussion on this, including Juan Williams, you really need to program the Tivo and tune in one of the repeats later today. It’s rare to see Brit Hume animated about anything, but he was visibly pissed about this when Chris Wallace got to him.

If you are not a communist, you are a racist bigot.

One can be both. See my earlier post above.

The amusing part: the woman head of NPR who responded to the criticisms said something about Juan needing to seek out his psychiatrist over his Islamophobia, or something to that effect.

Oops. Offensive to people with mental illness!!! Ha ha ha ha. She was forced to issue an apology for her “insensitive remark.”

I am still howling over that one. This is hilarious. These people are just tripping over themselves and it’s a gas.

Obama's Church: Gospel of Hate
Kathy Shaidle, FrontPageMag.com
Monday, April 07, 2008

In March of 2007, FOX News host Sean Hannity had engaged Obama’s pastor in a heated interview about his Church’s teachings. For many viewers, the ensuing shouting match was their first exposure to "Black Liberation Theology"...

Like the pro-communist Liberation Theology that swept Central America in the 1980s and was repeatedly condemned by Pope John Paul II, Black Liberation Theology combines warmed-over 1960s vintage Marxism with carefully distorted biblical passages. However, in contrast to traditional Marxism, it emphasizes race rather than class. The Christian notion of "salvation" in the afterlife is superseded by "liberation" on earth, courtesy of the establishment of a socialist utopia.

Catholics for Marx [Liberation Theology]
By Fr. Robert Sirico
FrontPageMagazine.com | Thursday, June 03, 2004

In the days when the Superpowers were locked in a Cold War, Latin America seethed with revolution, and millions lived behind an iron curtain, a group of theologians concocted a novel idea within the history of Christianity. They proposed to combine the teachings of Jesus with the teachings of Marx as a way of justifying violent revolution to overthrow the economics of capitalism.

The Gospels were re-rendered not as doctrine impacting on the human soul but rather as windows into the historical dialectic of class struggle. These "liberation theologians" saw every biblical criticism of the rich as a mandate to expropriate the expropriating owners of capital, and every expression of compassion for the poor as a call for an uprising by the proletarian class of peasants and workers.

Islam is not terribly popular above the 30th parallel.

Couple of reasons for that are ~ when Ramadan occurs during Summer you would starve to death between meals ~ if you didn't die of thirst first.

I am not hearing of any Eskimo, Chugchi, Yakut, Yupiak, Samoyed, Suami or Sa'ami Mosques ever being blown up by anybody ~ most likely because there's no such thing.

Assuming many, some, all or most of those folks have the X-factor genetic structure, that's a whole "race" who have NO MOSLEM members!

...let George Soros just fund the whole thing [NPR]....

As a VERY pro-Serbian Orthodox Christian American, I would boycott ANY media funded entirely by George Soros!!!! And I think that I would have all sorts of other people joining me in that boycott!

Given all that is happening to America nowadays (especially including the demonization of Arizona and the attempt to destroy her with boycotts, lawsuits, and failure to defend her border), isn’t it time for Americans to rethink their anti-Serbian biases? These are all based on media LIES—brought to us by Soros, the muzzies, and other miscreants. These are the same miscreants who are now painting the vast majority of Americans as Bigots, while bashing Arizona and continuing to bash Orthodox Christian Serbia!!!!

You are correct. The whole NATO intervention in the Balkans was directly against the NATO charter.
