Tony Blair's sister-in-law has converted to Islam after having what she describes as a "holy experience" during a visit to Iran.

Journalist and broadcaster Lauren Booth, 43 – Cherie Blair's sister – now wears a hijab whenever she leaves her home, prays five times a day and visits her local mosque whenever she can.

She decided to become a Muslim six weeks ago after visiting the shrine of Fatima al-Masumeh in the city of Qom.

Western people have been battered into believing that there is no God, that spirituality is some kind of mind game, and that everyone who believes in God must be an idiot otherwise everyone would be drawn to God not just those “ignorant wretches” who are uneducated. Then, they go as empty vessels to a society where everything, and I mean everything, is focused on and in orbit around the lies of Islam and they're swept up in the emotions of the community they're in.

It's typical of cults and brainwashing and it happens to the “educated” westerner because humans have a need for God and when they refuse to acknowledge that need and to acknowledge God, they're filled with whatever spirit first grants them a feeling of being a part of something larger than themselves. In the case of Islam, they're joining something that fits the leftist desire to shove their views down the throats of all who do not agree so it's an easy transition.
