Soooo it just an oh well, those pesky Dums at it again.
This type of behavour has to stop.
That didn’t just check if D or R. They went after Repub DONORS.
This is a direct attempt at wide scale unconstitutional actions. Watergate didn’t even get this bad.
Snopes is run by a libtard couple living in a trailer house somewhere in California.
Like I believe Snopes.
What do you SEE?
This is a reprint of a story that is over one year old.

Subject: Chrysler's Railroad
This could be a scandal of epic proportions and one that makes Nixon's Watergate or Clinton 's Monica Lewinsky affair pale by comparison. Why was there neither rhyme nor reason as to which dealerships of the Chrysler Corporation were to be closed? Roll the clock back to the weeks just before Chrysler declared bankruptcy. Chrysler, like GM, was in dire financial straits and federal government "graciously" offered to "buy the company" and keep them out of bankruptcy and "save jobs." Chrysler was, in the words of Obama and his administration, "Too big to fail," same story with GM.......................

So yes, it is not BREAKING NEWS. Plus the original poster made up his own title.
More than likely, that proves it is true with a mistaken detail or two. Snopes is run by a far left couple with a political agenda.
They have less credibility than the Huffington Post.
You'll get more information in Ratter's own words by reading the two links which I just posted.
Well we have a pt cruiser in the carport but now that I have this info, I will never buy chrysler again.
This will go on “nachums list”.
Just read anything on the Clintons and you’ll see.
Here is more from FactCheck on this year old story:
“As we noted in our earlier post on this subject, car dealers are quite a Republican bunch. The Web site FiveThirtyEight.com used Fundrace to find that 546 presidential campaign donors who identified themselves as “auto dealers” gave to Republican candidates in 2008, and just 72 gave to Democrats. Of those who said they were “car dealers,” 141 gave to the GOP hopefuls and 42 to Democrats. (We replicated FiveThirtyEight.coms searches and came up with the same results.)
Similarly, FoxNews.com (which is rarely thought of as part of the allegedly liberal media conspiracy) took a random sampling of the Chrysler list and found no evidence that the closures were politically skewed:
FoxNews.com: A preliminary study by FOXNews.com found that the data do not support the charges. Among the dealerships set to close, 12 percent of a random 50 selected for review donated to Republicans and 8 percent to Democrats. Of the dealerships remaining open, 14 percent of a random 50 selected donated to Republicans and 10 percent to Democrats. In both samples, the average size of donations was similar for both parties.”

Of the dealerships remaining open, 14 percent of a random 50 selected donated to Republicans and 10 percent to Democrats. In both samples, the average size of donations was similar for both parties.
According to the sample, one major factor in determining whether a dealership was closed or not was the size of the dealership, measured by the number of product lines carried (the four lines are Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge and Dodge Truck). The average store that will be closed in the FOXNews.com sample carries 2.5 of those product lines whereas the average store that will stay open carries 3.64.”
“Amazingly, of the 789 dealerships closed by the federal government, 788 had donated money, exclusively to Republican political causes, while contributing nothing to Democratic political causes. The only “Democratic” dealership on the list was found to have donated $7,700 to Hillary’s campaign, and a bit over $2,000 to John Edwards. This same dealership, reportedly, also gave $200.00 to Obama’s campaign.”

This is not new. We saw at the time that Obama targeted Republicans and their dealerships for closure.
If you have time, you could find many articles posted at FR concerning this.
“Exactly, this is not breaking news just more of it.”
Obama could murder his wife and it would never qualify as “breaking news”, because the news wouldn’t report it...
If there were any legs to this story Fox would have made a ton of noise about it.
Personally I would never buy a car from a company partially owned by the government. To me that rewards bad government behavior (nationalization, aka - Chavez). GM and Chrysler are off my list now and I am enjoying my 2010 Ford!
It makes you wonder if they are this obvious in the partisan.taking of Americans livelihood. Where else in government programs do the Obamatrons check the voting record of the people involved. REEKS of Commie/Fascist mindset.
No Chrysler, No GM, never again! Never! I’d rather walk than endorse Obama’s Chavez style nationalization of the auto industry. By stooping to benefit from crime I would only be encouraging more crime.
UAW members + leadership were too busy blowing their $10,000 plus yearly bonus checks to stop the Daimler-Chrysler “merger of equals.” That was the moment of truth for Chrysler and the union. Now the US auto industry is all but gone and the UAW is just another welfare program.
Is that good or bad?
“To the extent that it’s true, It needs to be on Drudge people need to go to jail.”
Totally agree.
I agree. Further, I will not willfully buy any product that is made by union labor, and won't consider it again unless and until it becomes illegal for unions to lobby their membership politically, or use union dues to fund candidates.
“I am enjoying my 2010 Ford! “
Unfortunately, you are still rewarding the UAW.
Ah...Edmund Burke quote, but nice sentiment.
