This is not to be believed.
That means if Pol Pot were President of the US but favored loose gun laws, VFW endorsement would follow.

They don’t get it. By supporting the individual democrat, they support the party that wants to remove the 2nd amendment from the constitution. Now, they can spend the money they would have spent on the “pro-2A” democrats and use it for a race where a anti-2A democrat is in a battle with a pro-freedom republican or indy.
Supporting evil just a little is supporting evil.

We got a postcard from them Saturday, encouraging us to vote for two candidates, both of them dems.

The NRA is neither pro-conservative or pro-Constitutional (except 2A). The NRA acts much like the rinos do. They love to make compromises with the Dems all the time. They almost sold out the 1A during the DISCLOSE act by trying to get a carve out from the Dems. Conservative gun owners should not have to constantly beg the NRA to do the right thing; the NRA should know better.
Conservatives don’t have to sell out their principles and compromise by supporting pro-gun Dems (just another Leftist). Conservatives can choose to become members of conservative pro-gun rights groups.
There is no reason to put the NRA ahead of conservative values anymore.

Any sitting US Senator that voted to confirm Kagan, Sotomayor, and Ginsberg should not get an NRA endorsement. Period. End of story.

It’s as simple as that. I’m an NRA life member and will remain so simply to vote against every current member of the board. The NRA needs to get a little dose of TEA.

Just trashed my new NRA magazine without even reading it because they put a “vote for” Jim Marshall (D) on the cover.

Voting to keep a Speaker Pelosi and a Democrat majority is NOT pro-2A.

It’s not.

It’s proved to me that the NRA is either tone deaf or short-sighted. Either way sucks for them.

Even giving the NRA the benefit of the doubt, they have basically admitted they fighting a static war in a dynamic environment. That dog don't hunt! The Second Amendment Foundation (www.saf.org) will be getting all my future financial support. The NRA? Done!

A GOA endorsement carries far more weight for me than one from the tone-deaf whores at NRA.

If Ike Skelton voted for Nancy Pelosi to be Speaker, then there is absolutely no way in the world that the NRA can defend giving him an “A” rating.

I just ran across a very good video of a speech by Alan Gura on You Tube while not showing any disrespect he points out some of the problems the NRA is making for itself.

They have been infiltrated and compromised. The NRA is now a RAT operation. Burn it down. Isn’t there a conservative gun organization?

It has come to my attention that the NRA/PVF has endorsed Earl Pomeroy and given him an "A" grade on firearms issues.

One of the reasons the NRF PVF gave is that :

"Holder Letter -- Signed the letter to Attorney General Eric Holder with 64 other House Democrats expressing opposition to the reenactment of the failed 1994 Clinton ban on semi-automatic firearms and ammunition magazines"

I'm not sure how long the new hires at the PVF have been paying attention, but Earl Pomeroy voted for the 1994 Clinton "Assualt Weapons Ban" and staunchly defended it to me in the Cafe on Main Street in Williston, telling me "You don't need an AK-47 to go deer hunting."

For those who do not recall, the 'ban' was based on cosmetic features of semi-automatic firearms and outlawed the production of new (civillian) magazines in excess of 10 rounds capacity while it was in effect. It sunsetted without a vote to sustain it 10 years later, when gun control had become the third rail of American politics.

While the Party bosses may have let him appear to be a friend of the Right to Keep and Bear Arms, he has an old and long track record of voting against the Second Amendment Rights of Americans in the past, and I have no reason to see any credibility in the idea that he has had some sort of an epiphany in an election year.

In the past, he had an NRA grade of "F".

Someone at the NRA isn't doing their research when they will back an incumbent with an earlier anti-gun voting track record over a fresh-faced Republican who has an equal A grade.
