ICYMI New poll: Haley 51% Sheheen 37%
Insider Advantage/Statehouse Report: http://www.statehousereport.com/
OCT. 22, 2010 A new InsiderAdvantage/Statehouse Report poll released today suggests that South Carolina may well see a Republican sweep of all constitutional offices in the Nov. 2 general election.
Thats each of the nine statewide offices from governor to the comptroller general and on down the ballot to the commissioner of agriculture.
With a week and a half to go until the election, state Rep. Nikki Haley (R-Lexington) seems to have regained her lead over her Democratic challenger, state Sen. Vincent Sheheen of Kershaw County, according to the new poll.
It shows nearly 51 percent of registered voters who responded said they would most likely vote for Haley if the election were held on Oct. 19; just over 37 percent said theyd pull the lever marked Sheheen. Three percent said theyd vote for Green Party candidate Morgan Bruce Reeves. Almost 9 percent were undecided.
We get the babes dims get Nancy and Barbara Mikulski.
Polls polls and more polls we’ll find out Weds. what ones one were right. Right now I could care less what they say anymore.
I'm kinda with you there on that one.
This strikes me as particularly good news for Mick Mulvaney (R), seeking to oust long-term incumbent (and Pelosi’s budget writer) John Spratt in SC-5. That district (in northern South Carolina, including some suburban Charlotte, NC areas) leans Republican in Presidential elections. It should be winnable for Mulvaney. One to watch on election night.
Mulvaney is a brilliant man on the issues of the day and would make a great SC governor some day. Spratt is a stuttering autistic fool. That would be a great pickup for all of South Carolina if Mulvaney wins.
Yeah...Getting Real sick of the Negative ad’s attacking Haley....They haven’t even really tried to argue issues with her.....
can I take this Haley race as a sure thing?.....this election season and all its polls are driving me crazy....
Oh it is a sure thing and a good thing.
