For almost twenty years, Barletta and the mayor who preceded him turned a blind eye to the invaders of Hazleton.

That plan he came up with a few years back, that Illegal Immigration Relief Act, was Save Our State’s work that had already been shot down in court.

Barletta saw an opportunity to grandstand his way to national prominence and took it.

How did a former white house staff member phrase it? Never let a crises go to waste?

Barletta must have read that book, too.
