The heaviest voting has been in the 11th District, covering the western part of the state. In that area, Democratic Rep. Heath Shuler has been facing a tough and increasingly costly challenge from Republican businessman Jeff Miller.

Another area with heavy balloting is in the 7th District in southeastern North Carolina. In that district, Demoratic Rep. Mike McIntyre has faced a tough challenge from military veteran Ilario Pantano, who received an endorsement from Palin on Tuesday.

I’m in Iredell County. We have Patrick McHenry. Good luck. I hope ya’ll oust Shuler.
I plan to do my part to get rid of Price tomorrow.
Fingers crossed here but the fact that this district has seen the heaviest early voting doesn’t bode well for Shuler. This is a conservative district.
Sadly Congressman BillyBob can't vote him out, but he can keep the other dead from voting for Shuler.
I’m in the 11th district also. 2 more votes for Jeff Miller from husband and myself. Lots of articles in the local paper countering Shuler’s lies that he has been trying to spread about Jeff. The editorials are running about 3-1 against Shuler.
Alexander Co here used to be Iredell. A lot of RATS over here always like Iredell because it was a Republican county. We got Virginia Foxx one of the best ones.
