I think cameras are forbidden in voting booths.
Yeah, that's a good idea. A really good idea.
In most states, yes. Yes they are.
Cheers
Those machines made in Venezuela?
But cell phones aren’t.
I’d go with something concealable...
Cheers
If legal...this is an excellent idea!
To adequately do this, someone would need to record the ENTIRE voting process, without stopping. Any pauses in recording will be grounds for claiming the video was altered. If you walk up to a voting machine, and one candidate is already selected, you can’t just begin recording right then.
You would need to begin recording BEFORE you walk to the voting machine, during the voting process, and immediately after.
In GA, phones and cameras are forbidden by statute from the precinct.
I’m just going to use the paper ballot even though it’s really small here and I don’t think anything would be tampered with at our local level with all the reports who knows who did what to those machines. Check out the problems in Nevada
Nevada Voters Complain Of Problems At Polls
Fox 5 Vegas
October 26, 2010
Some voters in Boulder City complained on Monday that their ballot had been cast before they went to the polls, raising questions about Clark County’s electronic voting machines.
Voter Joyce Ferrara said when they went to vote for Republican Sharron Angle, her Democratic opponent, Sen. Harry Reid’s name was already checked.

SEIU Controls “Glitchy” Voter Machines in Nevada
Big Government
October 26, 2010
It is positively outrageous that in Clark County, Nevada, the SEIU Local 1107, which supports Harry Reid, controls the ballot boxes by contract through their representation of the voting machine technicians. It is not surprising that Senator Harry Reids name was automatically checked off on the ballot when individuals went to vote.
The U.S. Attorneys Office, the Nevada State Attorney General, and the U.S Marshalls need to act now to ensure that the SEIU does not continue to compromise the integrity of ballots in Nevada, and anywhere else in the country. The democratic process is too precious to be tampered with and abused.

Sharron Angle (R) 49% Harry Reid (D) 45%
I would think a video recording via cell phone would be very easy to do. They won’t know it’s recording. Just be careful in how you hold it. As soon as you get to the voting machine, they are usually hidden from direct view, so you can definitely use it then. If you find any irregularities, it will also be very important to have the recorder running to get the reaction of the poll workers, because you should damn well bring attention to it.
I am going to do this! I live in a competitive district.
Uh, how will you know that they “changed” your vote to challenge it with your video?
I agree with you.
Total waste of time.
Unless somebody video records 100% of the votes and that’s not gonna happen.
There are too many instances, in Illinois, Arizona, Nevada and North Carolina, of machines straight-ticket auto-voting Democrat....... that we should record our votes...... JUST IN CASE.
Record your vote on phones or cameras. Get that up on YouTube and send the link to Andrew Breitbart, Redstate, AceofSpades, MichelleMalkin, AnnCoulter, and other sites. Also send it to Rush, Fox News, Glenn Beck, Hannity, and Greta.
Like they could spot my Iphone4
Just wondering whether it would be beneficial to write down the time I vote on the receipt I get from the poll people.
You know, just in case of a recount, since I live here in Illinois.

Remember that you are NOT Democrats, or any other ‘protected’ species for whom the breaking of voting laws with impunity is a ‘right’ — if photographing or otherwise recording in the polling place is illegal in your locale (and possibly, even if it’s not technically illegal) you stand a good chance of being hunted down, arrested, and prosecuted....
