Her opponent in the primary wanted Duncan Hunter to endorse him. When Hunter found out that he, Castro was his name, worked for Chertoff and the virtual fence, he scoffed.

Among its new members is Mohamed Elibiary, a backer of the Ayatollah Khomeini and a well-known Egyptian jihadist named Sayyid Qutb. In fact, Elibiary participated in a tribute to Khomeini, the ruthless Iranian revolutionary whose teachings continue to govern Middle Eastern terrorist organizations like Al Qaeda. The Dallas event was called “A Tribute To The Great Islamic Visionary, Ayatollah Khomeini.” Elibiary’s participation and his support for other known jihadist figures were revealed by a military anti-terrorism consultant, who has published articles on the subject. ....../snip
