As of 9:50 p.m. EDT, The Post & Email has just spoken with LCDR Walter Francis Fitzpatrick, III, who was arrested today at his home on a charge of “failure to appear” at a hearing last Friday of which he claims he was not notified. Fitzpatrick is being held in the Monroe County detention facility.

Ok. I agree. The flaming nutburger should not have gotten bothered by the Secret Service and I am upset that tax dollars were wasted on it.
Here’s my call: It’s rotten to taser a man with a hearing aid. A man with a hearing aid can be talked to, citizen to citizen. And a man with a hearing aid could well have a heart problem, that makes a taser shot fatal.

The problem, is, this MAY go beyond the individual LEO’S that came to arrest him.
According to Fitzpatrick, he (note: or his lawyer, or both) were not notified of the hearing.
This happened to me once (non criminal) and it was no big deal, because I had a feeling something was wrong and called the court.
The court had apparently sent a notice to the wrong address.
But what if they did something like this deliberately to set him up?
I don’t know what really happened, as we haven’t heard from the LEO’S side of the story.
Fitzpatrick admits he resisted.(usually a bad idea)
Did he think his life was in danger?
He said they knocked down his door.
Why would they do that?
I would like to have answers, but I don’t think the MSM is carrying the story.
The writer of the article claims she is waiting for more information herself.
Frankly, I’m suspending judgment until I know more about what is really going on.
It does appear that — right or wrong — Fitzpatrick is rattling some cages...

Wasted tax dollars are the least of my concerns about it. What does it say about the paranoia levels in the WH that they send them out for a nutburger who has made no credible threats? Not even implied threats by any stretch of the imagination.

I don’t think it is against the law to serve as foreman on a grand jury for twenty years, but it’s kind of suspicious, (if true) and would seem worthy of investigation.

If true, and it sounds far out there, but sh1t does go on in places — its more than kind of suspicious. It goes against what the grand jury system is all about — to serve as a citizen, non-professional, check on the prosecutor. To serve for 20 years is a kind of inbreeding, and would greatly reduce the citizen check on abuses of power. I’d say that just alone of itself is a certain enough sign of a corrupt process.

The county attorneys and other officials — not to mention JUDGES! — MUST have ALL known about this.

It's called a dynamic entry. They may have had a "no knock" warrant? Or, he wasn't wearing his hearing aid, and didn't hear their faint girlie taps on his door? So, they decided to break in?
I would like to see the warrant. Randy Weaver lost his wife and son when he "missed" a court date. A date he claims he never received. Fitzpatrick claims he never received the court date.

One can ask “why am I being arrested?”
One can ask to call one’s attorney... although the police say “you have a right to on attorny” etc. when they read you your “Miranda” rights.
One of those rights, of course, is that you don’t have to(upon interrogation)say ANYTHING to them.
