Shooter is a highly accurate ballistics calculator for the Android mobile platform (v1.6 and higher) and is currently for sale in the Android Market for $9.99. Shooter's primary goal is to provide accurate shot solutions quickly and easily when in the field. This is done by utilizing a proven-accurate and fast ballistics solver coupled with an advanced, intuitive user interface supporting features like firearm and ammunition profiles (so you never have to enter the same data twice) and options to use your device's hardware (GPS, Accelerometer, Compass) to help you input shot-data both quickly and accurately.

Actually Ballistic Field Tactical Edition has been available for both Iphone and Ipad since July. BulletFlight by Knughts Armament has been available since 2009.
Any other dumb questions you'd like answered?
*Fire Solution entered, fire for effect...deer walks off before the trigger is pulled.
Yes, why did Steve Jobs knowingly push out a defective phone (iPhone 4) with a faulty antenna design and proximately sensor?
Who are the idiots that buy that overpriced, closed system crap? Low IQ liberals is my guess.
Oops! I just assumed that Apple wouldn't let anything to do with guns into their store. Since I don't own either type of smart phone, I was talking out my a$$. Not the first time and probably won't be the last. At least I admit when I'm wrong!
Bump for home.
Aren’t people supposed to be able to do these calculations in their heads? Assuming that someone is not sufficiently arithmetically inclined to do so, couldn’t a dollar store pocket calculator perform the same function at far lower cost, and risk to an expensive PDA/file reader out in the wilderness?
With my luck, I'd fat-finger the apps and set off the AK-47 sound effect...
I figured that, too. Imagine my surprise when I found the ballistics calculators AND the shot timers. They work pretty darned well, too.
At least I admit when I'm wrong!
LOL. Just giving you a hard time.
Best,

This idiot, for one. Can't speak for others, though.
You sound a little hostile. Could it be operating system envy?
Why don't you run a virus scan or defrag your hard drive. A Windows-only maintenance experience should be soothing.
Me...? I'll just keep working happily with my "closed system crap."
They actually have been available for iPhone for quite a while,
I use KAC Bullet Flight, and it is a decent program. I believe that there very basic program is a free app, while the more functional versions are between $10 and $20.
Hmmm, let’s see:
And for the people’s exhibit H, I would like to present data from the accused’s cell phone, a ballistics solution ...
Just got a 21” iMac, like the one pictured above. It wasn’t overpriced, and it takes up darn little desktop real estate. I can’t even hear the fans, or the disk when I’m using it, and in sleep mode... Oh, and the cable nest I used to have for my homebuilt tower? It’s sitting in a box somewhere.
Yep, there’s lots of us Low IQ Liberals here on FR.
Next Question?
Zhang Fei is trying to steal your name and your reputation with the post at http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2617015/posts?page=9#9
Well, uh...it's like this...see...
Shut up.

“...with a faulty antenna design and proximately sensor?”
With a sentence like that who are you calling an idiot?
Yeah, what you said!
It’s called BulletFlight on the IPhone. Been using it for my .338, .308 and .223 calculations for over a year now. Nice
