RUSH: I've got a picture of it. Here is a picture of Obama addressing his own Middle Class Task Force using a teleprompter. Right here, Snerdley. "Obama addresses dozen members of Middle Class Task Force," and there's the teleprompter. I see the teleprompter screens, and I see Larry Summers sitting around here and some of the other people. It looks like... Well, I can't tell who, but there are 12 of them. Biden was in charge of it, and there you have it. Middle Class Task Force, one of his own subgroups, and he's speaking to them with a teleprompter!
According to Jon Stewart they’re real. The White House didn’t deny they were set up in the classroom but claimed he didn’t actually use them.
TOTUS is doing its best to save 0 from his gaffes.

Nope. Real photo. (The only caveat is that we are told he DIDN'T use the teleprompter when talking to the fourth graders, but “needed” it for his follow-on talk tot he few people later - 10 to 15 local politicians.

I think the ever present teleprompter is a certain sign his staff/handlers don’t trust him. They’ve concluded (rightly so I might add) that in order for him to stay on message and sound adult like someone else’s words must be piped in for him to read. Its worse tho b/c many (most?) events which appear to have free form Q&A are all rehearsed too. His staff requires all Qs be submitted prior to the event. Those very few free form Q&A events are obvious b/c Barry wanders, stammers etc and basically bores his audience w/o ever answering the Q. His staff tries to keep those episodes to a minimum w/ as little news coverage as possible. If Barry were pressed to speak on his own the country would soon decide no one is present. He’s not a good speaker (but a fairly good reader) and he’s NOT smart.
