Obama will speak about today's terror threats. Besides speaking about Christine O'Donnell closing the gap with Chris Coons, Obama is also expected to talk about the packages from Yemen via UPS planes scare (and probably the plane getting a fighter escort to NYC now.)
It smells of desperation from a severely damaged WH ... on the eve of political destruction.

Did you guys catch Brennan making the remark that ‘over the last two years, we have made remarkable progress in our intel’(paraphrase)..he even quipped at the end..’even going back to the previous administration, we made ‘some’ progress’. What a hack! My blood pressure went up 25 points just listening to that presser today. How can Brennan claim it was our intel when it’s already been reported that the intel and info came from a foreign ally?
Why were the planes even allowed to land in the US?

First we were told they were looking for a white guy in his forties. Get it? Looking for another angry white guy. Then it was an angry white guy who acted alone … who was deranged, like maybe a tea party guy who didn’t like health care.
I’m not a tin-foil type at all, but this looks like a hoax to me. Ft. Hood: immediate lockdown and complete radar silence with the media. WH never uses the word “terrorist” at all. Now we have a story about “terrorists” laid open and put fully on display immediately and zero can’t shut up about it.
The FBI originally said there was no explosives. Now they’ve shut up altogether and the administration, zero himself instead of Janet Incompetano, is doing the talking and he’s claiming there were explosives. The UAE said no packages from Yemen were on the plane. Then Dubai, whose leaders are great buddies with Bloomberg, Clinton and zero, fall into line with the Yemen story. I call BS.
Doesn’t have anything to do with “freedom of speech.” What if 9/11 had happened while zero was in office? Would you be joking then? I’m just saying that this was possibly a serious threat and many here are treating it like a big joke.
And what would the purpose be? This certainly doesn’t help them, in fact the opposite.

If you are the WH and the Dems anything to get the American people to change their minds about the election. Nothing else has worked and they are doing anything. I am sure they have another thing or 2 up their sleeve that will piggyback on this one.

Since Obozo was johnny on the spot with remarks about this story, it appears as if he was trying to manipulate the Friday news cycle. Deflection and diversion IMHO.

zero’s and his political advisors’ perception vs. reality are usually at odds. They would view it as him looking presidential as opposed to how lame he looked relative to the Christmas Day bomber and Ft. Hood. They think that benefits him and the party’s election prospects.
They misunderestimate the populace, as usual.
As an aside, if he had designs on taking over shipping, this would help. He’s already made a move on the trucking industry.
