How sad she didn’t put her grandchildren ahead of her political ambitions 2 years ago... I’m sure she’s a swell grandma, so we and her grandchildren all have been the losers in this short-sighted decision. Think about it: but for Pelosi, Obama might actually have heeded Rahm’s advice to abandon radical health reform in favor of compromising with Republicans on this issue.
