ABC's Jonathan Karl reports: A high-level GOP source tells me that party leaders have essentially given up on Republican Senate candidate Joe Miller and are now banking on a victory by write-in candidate Lisa Murkowski as the best bet for Republicans to keep the Alaska Senate seat.
Murkowski defied party leaders by running a write-in campaign after she lost the Republican primary last month. But with Miller's campaign faltering, the source tells me that Republican leaders are now worried that Democrat Scott McAdams has a shot of winning and that Murkowski may be the only way to stop him.
It's a remarkable turnaround for Murkowski. She was punished by party leaders last month -- unceremoniously stripped of her post in the Senate leadership -- when she refused to bow out of the Senate race and endorse Miller. But she has consistently said she is still a Republican and will caucus with the Republican party if she wins

This is just another media attempt to manipulate voters, trying to make those who are still undecided not vote for Miller by depressing their enthusiasm. Everyone who does that twitter stuff and facebook out to be out there debunking this as just another ‘no longer relevant biased’ media trick!
The Senate race in Alaska is a battlepoint of old establishment DC RINO’s pitting against the new youngblood Tea Party. As a Texan next time Cornyn comes up for re-election I will work hard to support his primary opponent and hope it will be a good strong TEA Party conservative.

The Anchorage Daily News (ADN) aka " THE MCCLATCHY COMMIE DAILY' and local radio station KENI (650AM) and the RINO mgr Rick Reidel are so bought and paid for by Murkowski it's embarrassing.
Reidel has proven himself to be a complete butt-boy for Princess-Lisa.
The sad end result ... NONE of the relevant issues, so critical to our state and nation are being honestly discussed.
I do believe however that if ANYONE can persevere in the face of such political smear, Joe Miller IS the man.

Yep, and murkowski promised Alaskans she would abide by their wishes if she lost the primary. So much for her word of honor. She’s a ME, Me, important ME, rino. She’ll vote for whoever makes her “feel” important at that moment.
