Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin claimed on Sunday that she has video evidence proving that reporters for a CBS affiliate in Alaska conspired to show Joe Miller, the state's Republican Senate nominee, in a negative light.
"CBS reporters are on tape saying, 'Lets find a child molester in the crowd that supports Miller,'" the 2008 Republican vice presidential nominee said on "Fox News Sunday." "Those are corrupt bastards."
Palin, who is a Fox News contributor, said she "can't wait" to show the tape, which she says was recorded at a recent rally that she addressed in Alaska. The tape was posted Saturday night on Big Journalism.
The former Alaska governor blamed the media for Miller's drop in polls after leading Republican Sen. Lisa Murkowski, who's waging a write-in campaign. Polls now show Miller trailing, but Palin still expressed confidence that her chosen candidate will win.
"The things this fella has had to put up with, it's no wonder the numbers have been tightening," she said.
I assume they wanted to get a list of those in attendance, then run a background search on each one.
The spin being offered by KTVA just doesnt cut it. This was corruption bigtime.
That crowd shouldn’t have any problems finding a child molester amongst themselves. Go Sarah!
Are you sure??
No chance at all that you are 'spinning' things just a bit?
No chance that you are doing the same type of thing that you accuse others of doing? And if so, what does that make you?
Sounds to me like the station is defending its hacks as “misunderstood.”
Pathetic.
PS. Surprised they didn't intentionally 'plant' one in there against Miller. What amazes me is how many people in this nation can still vote for the evil Dems... simply astounding... GO JOE Miller!
If one tales the time to listen, it is clear what these reporters intentions were.
File a complaint with the FEC. These guys are not a legitimate news organization. They are a political organization, and they are violating the campaign finance laws.
BRILLIANCE BY PALIN. “Corrupt bastards” are the strongest words ever uttered in public by Sarah Palin. We all know the media loves to report every time Sarah speaks a word or tweets a text. They will now dutifully and breathlessly report that Palin called reporters “corrupt bastards”, and she knows and expects it. When they report WHAT she said, they will have to report WHY she said it. And when people learn the story they will indeed agree with Palin. CORRUPT BASTARDS indeed! This can only help Joe Miller today and Sarah Palin tomorrow.
The FCC complaint will have an effect on the station owners’ license renewal process. The FEC complaint will not.
Has anybody seen it, if so where?
All the coverage so far on Fox has been of audiotape, no video. If she is holding it back, why?
Wow, just read the transcript, and wow.
As a service, I have made a to-do list for the President of CBS News:
1) Fire said JournOlisters
2) Issue immediate apology to the entire country
3) Send internal memo, stating clearly that this will NEVER be tolerated and is an immediate firing offense
4) Resign
That ought to cover it.
The Kommie Klownfest was full of pro-NAMBLA signs.
Colbert and Stewart should be very proud of themselves for hosting pedophiles, and Arianna should be proud of giving these pederasts a free busride down to DC.
yes. great point.
What's your problem dude?
Are you sure??
IIRC, he actually agreed with whoever made the "whore" comment, saying something along the lines of "yeah, we'll go with that."
We don't need to enhance what the RATS say, what comes out of their RAT-HOLES is damning enough...tho I think it's fair to accuse them of whatever phony accusations they raise against the opposition - the RATS are usually just projecting....
No one’s license is going to be terminated, though. Dramatize the corruption of the whole media and the fallacy of the campaign finance laws by pointing out the fine line between the modern media and the liberal political organizations.
Excellent analysis. Now, that’s POWER!
