You're right....Republican A (Rove) criticized Republican B (O'Donnell)....and his message HAS been used and re-used by the media.....and WAS repeated again today by tape on Fox just so we don't forget all the allusions that O'Donnell is an extreme wacko candidate.

In other words, Fox employee Rove's lousy nationwide trip on Christine at the beginning is Fox's gift that keeps on giving, right up to this eleventh hour.

Last I heard was some college poll, NOT Fairleigh-Dickson...Monmouth I think. Showed COD within ten points. This was just recent.

Ten points is a lot to try to cover in a couple of days, but I’m not sure this poll is right. I find it very telling that none of the big polling outfits are messing with Delaware. I think it’s a difficult state to poll right now, what with having a Repub. picking up Dem votes for so long.

Plus....come on...COONS? Some people on this thread call COD a bad candidate but Coons? I don’t see the Wilmington welfare class jumping outta bed Tuesday to vote for a communist about as white bread and boring as they come.

Actually, there was substantial polling evidence that he would not have won, or that it would have much closer than people were anticipating. He was the de facto incumbent (due to the fact that he was the congressional seat in a state like Delaware is essentially like a Senate seat), and he was polling under 50%, and dropping like a rock. Add to that the fact that he thoroughly alienated his most reliable and active constituency, and this race would have been a poor man's Illinois.
