PhotobucketKeep the faith, Christine! You are named after one powerful saint whose unflagging faith persevered her ...
St. Christina was the daughter of a rich and powerful magistrate named Urbain. Her father, who was deep in the practices of heathenism, had a number of golden idols, which our saint destroyed, and distributed the pieces among the poor. Infuriated by this act, Urbain became the persecutor of his daughter. He had her whipped with rods and then thrown into a dungeon. Christina remained unshaken in her faith. Her tormentor then had her body torn by iron hooks, and fastened her to a rack beneath which a fire was kindled. But God watched over His servant and turned the flames upon the lookers-on. Christina was next seized, a heavy stone tied around her neck, and she was thrown into the lake of Balsena, but she was saved by an angel, and outlived her father, who died of spite. Later, this martyred suffered the most inhuman torments under the judge who succeeded her father, and finally was thrown into a burning furnace, where she remained, unhurt, for five days. By the power of Christ, she overcame the serpents among which she was thrown; then her tongue was cut out, and afterwards, being pierced with arrows, she gained the martyr's crown at Tyro, a city which formerly stood on an island in the lake of Balsena in Italy, but was long since swallowed up by the waters. Her relics are now at Palermo in Sicily. Her feast day is July 24th.
Go, Christine, Go! Continual prayers are with you ...

Hannity likes Palin...Oreilly and Beck-so-so...
I don’t think Wallace likes her at all, Wallace is old guard.

It’s polling very close in REAL internal polls. Otherwise the Kenyan thug-in-chief wouldn’t keep going up there and campaigning for the Marxist tool.

Well, that's what I thought. People who oppose Christine keep calling Castle a 'sure winner,' but I've never heard a plausible explanation as to why they said that.

It seems to me from the outside looking in, that if he lost to COD in the primary, he most certainly was NOT a 'winner.'

Actually Beck likes her a lot! She calls in to his radio show frequently and they text back and forth almost daily. I don’t know where you got the idea he doesn’t like her. Greta seems to like her as well, and I think Chris Wallace is both enamored of her and a bit cowed by her, but I wouldn’t say he dislikes her at all.

gawker? I think it was behar vs angle?

You're right. That was even worse. That's definitely going to get her a lot of the women's vote.

I’m not at all happy with Rove. I just don’t think he has all that much impact. To his credit, he’s also raised millions of dollars for tea party candidates. O’Donnell’s made lots of mistakes. Maybe the biggest was her “I am not a witch” ad to open her campaign. At the end of the day, these make more difference. She still might win.

>>>If O’donell somehow won this... I think the left would have a collective conniption fit.<<<

Nope - you got it a bit wrong - ‘WHEN O’Donnell Wins’

It was always expected to narrow as the election draws nearer - especially with Obama actively campaigning in the state ad driving voters to O’Donnell. The only question is: will it be enough?

Your analysis is much more accurate...I defer to you. Good view on the Wallace reaction.

She seems to have this unique ability to win over most anyone she meets........ except Obama and I’m not certain he likes women so he doesn’t count.

It’s not about his impact. It’s about giving ammunition to the opposition. Any time a self-styled Republicans criticizes another Republican, the media treats the critic as a respectable someone who’s message is worth listening to.

Look at that “maverick” John McCain, or heck, that airhead Megan McCain, and how much media play she got? Is she someone significant? No. But she’s treated as such as long as she bashes another Republican for being “extreme”.

Rove handed the opposition the rope that they used to hang O’Donnell. Heck he tied the noose before he handed it over to make it easy for them.

I am from the William Buckley school: nominate the most electable conservative. COD was a bridge too far for Delaware.

Rove will never recover from his O’Donnell mistakes.

Castle was going to only serve out the remaining 4 years of the Biden term and then retire. Whoever wins this race only gets a 4-year slot.

Castle might have said it. He might even have meant it as a true statement. But once he got to see the perks that came with the office of Senator, he would probably have changed his mind.

About the 4-year slot: four years is four years. It's enough time to vote against a lot of socialist nonsense, and then be up for re-election in an off year with lower turnout, which tends to favor Republicans.

That was TCJ -

Delaware Senate: Our polling for this race has largely shown a result that’s more favorable to O’Donnell, though recent polling by Tea Party Express has corroborated our 6-point O’Donnell deficit. Polls that give Coons a lead of 18, 19, and 20 points are, much like in the case of the California races, using inaccurate numbers to represent the composition of voters.
