“Mr. Obama”? Has anyone else noticed that in more and more major news outlets the moniker or President has been dropped in recent weeks? Call me Cynical but it’s just one more thing I have noticed that tells me something serious is going on with the powers that be.
The stylebook at most newspapers specify that a person's title need only appear at the first mention of the name. Thereafter, the person will be referred to as Mr.
The same was true for Presidents Bush, Clinton, etc.
