LAS VEGASNevada Democrats appear to have nearly kept pace with a surge of Republican enthusiasm in early voting, confirming a tight race between Republican Sharron Angle and Majority Leader Harry Reid. It's clear Republican voters are fired up to deny Reid a fifth term, but Democrats are turning out in significant numbers, too. Preliminary figures show Republicans turned out 37 percent of early voters in traditionally Democratic Clark County, several points above the party's registration.

The MSM saying the early voting means Harry Reid still has a chance to hang on.
We’ll see if the Dem base turns out for him in Clark County on Tuesday.

If the Dems aren’t up in early voting than it is all over.

If there is any race in America that will be fixed or cheated on, it's this one. dingy harry is NOT ready to give up his power and you can believe that plenty of our taxpayer dollars have gone into greasing the skids for him on this particular race.
I just pray that people will show up in large enough numbers to whip his scrawny old ass this time and put him out to pasture. He is part of the trio that is trying to bring down America, along with pelosi and obama. All three of them need to rot in hell.

I’m kinda curious why they assume that 100% of voters registered as Democrats will vote Democratic. In a year like this I’d assume at least 5-10% would cross over and vote Republican. Perhaps I am overly optimistic?

Maybe so, but do they know how they really voted? Maybe they already know and that’s why Carl Levin said that Dirty Harry would keep his seat. Or maybe they are just making it all up to try to suppress the GOP vote. I hope it is the last one.

I think you on to something. My dad is a registered Dem. but he is very conservative. He voted early, almost a straight rep ticket. He was just as eager to vote as I was. We will know soon.

What would be interesting is to see the Dem/GOP ratio from earlier elections. If in Nevada, as they do in many other states, the Dems usually swamp the GOP in early voting. Nearly keeping up would be a sign of impending disaster.

They are ignoring the independent vote that has swung Republican. You add higher than normal Republican turnout to a 20% - 30% independent swing and it spells trouble for dirty Harry.

Anything is possible when you have the “vote early, vote often” crowd behind you, as well as felons, illegal aliens, the dead, etc, etc, etc.
