It’s clear what is happening—the US is becoming more racially polarized at the political level. The states with a high percentage of white people, such as Mass. and Wisconsin are moving to the right and electing Republicans. Meanwhile states with big minority populations like CA are still electing Dems, although I’m holding out hope for Whitman and Fiorina.
