Thanks Karl Rove. Thanks Mike Castle. Thanks GOP elites. Conservative Christine O’Donnell carried the tea party voters. She bested the bearded Marxist with independents. But, she did not carry enough REPUBLICANS to win in Delaware tonight. What an absolute shame.

Maybe kinda. He made some gratuitous mutterings about how Florida did not need any law like Arizona’s, while Arizona was being pummeled and boycotted. Not quite an amnesty stand, but unhelpful and ill timed. Glad he has won though.
Which is why we should NEVER forget the Republicans and Conservatives that treated her worse than they have ever treated a communist liberal Democrat. Their careers should be ended! They need to be ran out of the party, so it can be taken over by real Conservatives with values.
We also need to watch out for voter fraud in every single race across the nation. We can’t ignore any voter fraud in any race in the nation, just because we are going to have a good night tonight overall. We have made Democrats bolder with their cheating by doing nothing in the past, and we have to stop that cold.

Well, at least a RINO did not get elected. That itself is the message to take away from this. If they put up a RINO, they need to know for a fact, we won’t vote for him! The days of being scared and voting for the lessor of 2 evils are over.
I don’t think her comments were that big of a deal, compared to the actual actions of her opponent, but I think she let herself get on the defensive about them, and instead of forcing the debate upon the issues, she let herself get mired in silly talk.
Also, she backpedaled on her commitment to sexual purity and Jesus publically, describing it as youthful zeal. Not pointing the finger, cause its easy to do when the heat is on, but, the other side is the radical one, we who want gov’t that honors the LORD’s stance on life and marriage and proper sexual behavior are not the ones who need to be back pedaling and apologizing!
But she was able to convince independents of her message. All republicans had to do was go along for the ride.
She is not done.
Totally, totally, totally agree! I wanted Christine to win so bad (for so many reasons), but I truly believe that she got some real bad advice on doing that ad (almost believe that Rove put a 'plant' in there to suggest this), it played right into the Bill Maher-sabotage agenda.
I got the feeling that as soon as Maher released that video on a Friday, that by Sat morning she/her campaign panicked, and immediately canceled all Sunday TV appearances that weekend, giving undeserved credence to Maher's scum trick.
BS! The NRCC barely gave O’Donnell any help at all, only one republican showed up to rally with her! And Karl Rove trashed her because his establishment buddies were pissed off that the Tea Party was pulling so much power! The establishment republicans all of a sudden thought that THEY get to choose our candidates. The few elitists in the Delaware GOP didn’t get their people out to vote, and Mike Castle is nothing more or less than freaking democrat!

They are the Colin Powell/Lincoln Chafee country club Republicans. They are the Republicans who would have voted for mccain but decided to go for Obama once Palin was picked.
I can understand the disgust with Rove and some of the northern New Castle County ‘republicans’ , but Steele was here in Delaware campaigning for O’Donnell. He gave a rousing good speech down here in Dover this weekend to bolster her chances. I ain’t mad at Mike [Steele that is, Castle is another story].

I agree. I would have felt a twinge of remorse, if she had been the 10th Senate would-be gain for the GOP. But it is clear the Republicans won’t make it close to 10 seats, and so her loss is at least the success of removing a RINO from the Senate.
