gatewaypundit ^ | Tuesday November 2, 2010

Thanks Karl Rove. Thanks Mike Castle. Thanks GOP elites. Conservative Christine O’Donnell carried the tea party voters. She bested the bearded Marxist with independents. But, she did not carry enough REPUBLICANS to win in Delaware tonight. What an absolute shame.

That “I’m not a witch” ad was stupid. It’s a Demmunist state. Was good they spent time and money there.

What the heck?

Sorry to see the Delaware GOP is made up of crybabies who would rather cut off their nose than deal with the reality of Conservatives voting for a Conservative.

Tonite is just the first battle. Flushing out the foes is part of that. More eyes will be WIDE open to establishment Republican true colors after today. We’ll finish the job in 2012 and beyond.

If you are going to blame everyone you have to blame Christine herself too. I mean she can’t come out of this clean. She was unable to convince people of her message. Did she go house to house every single day? Angle is.....I don’t know whose fault it is in total, but I do know that everyone has a stench on themselves.

Rove will not recover from this. Not as a conservative strategist.

His only choice is to officially start calling himself a Democratic strategist.

As far as I’m concerned, that’s it for Karl Rove. The dirty scum was more concerned about being a bigshot in the party than seeing the party win another seat.

Well, Karl, you’ll never eat lunch in this town again. You are finished. Washed up. Done.

I don’t feel bad about this loss at all. (Heck, I was expecting it.) I’m actually happy that she showed so well in this traditionally liberal enclave.

Yes, Rove was right in that she didn’t have a snowball’s chance in hell of winning this.

But what p*ssed me off (and motivated me to donate to her campaign) was that Rove gave the dims their talking points where COD was concerned. He bashed her and didn’t stop bashing her for two straight weeks. I’m also mad that she received NO support from the Republican party through this. *We* carried her as far as she made it.

The voters get exactly the gov’t they deserve.

Good grief, people vote for who they vote for. They are not automatons.

If you think the people of DE did not know Christine O’Donnell way better than Karl Rove did, think again.

Rove and the rest of the bed wetters never paid attention to what O’Donnell was actually saying.

O’Donnell simply advocates constitutional conservatism. That’s all. The rest of the BS is for morons like Rove.

Rove is like the brainless democrats who thought Tina Fey was Sarah Palin.

“Tonite is just the first battle”

You are so right in my opinion. Rove and the establishment let their masks slip during this election cycle for all to see what many conservatives already knew. Shame on us if we don’t continue the fight to exterminate the RINOs and forget what happens when we put our guard down for just a moment.

Didn’t she run for the Senate a few times before? Sometimes you might have to say to yourself “maybe I am not made for this”. I mean you are acting like this was her first rodeo. In fact everyone seems to thing she is some novice who never ran before. Where was the outrage four years ago???? Where was the support???? This reaction is not normal for Christine in other races she lost.

If you imagine Obama as the alcoholic husband running a rampage through the house and destroying everything in his path, Karl Rove is the enabler wife who quietly whimpers all the way to the liquor store where she buys him his next bottle of whiskey.

In Delaware’s three counties, she’s WAY ahead in one, has a healthy lead in the other, and is getting hammered in the third. She SHOULD have won this if the RINOs had done what they always ask of us conservatives—support the nominee!

They went after O’Donnel, in part, because they were really out to get Palin. They killed two birds with one stone, and cost us a seat in the Senate. Christine didn’t lose that seat, republican pundits did.
