Both execrable candidates.
Maldonado is a disgrace but I couldn’t bring myself to vote for Newsom so I voted 3rd party.
Imagine if the CA GOP had actually run, y’know, Conservatives for office ? They shouldn’t act surprised when they run me too’er liberals and we have across-the-board losses. Whitman was Ah-nold in a dress, and Ah-nold was the worst Governor in the modern era. Expanded gubmint beyond the wildest dreams of the rodents (or at least made Off-White Davis look like Reagan)... and now the fella who got the ball rolling on modern era expansionist insanity is about to take over... See how long Jerry lasts before he gets recalled. It’s like the Second Coming of Upton Sinclair, only this time, we’re really gonna see the full farce of uninhibited Stalinistic governance.
California is about to experience becoming a third world state. Good people will leave. Companies will leave. Illegals and welfare queens will continue to move in. The rest of America will have to provide foreign aid.
Harris may have defeated Cooley for Attorney General, which is particularly scary.
What a nightmare.
