With only a half of a percentage point separating DFL candidate Mark Dayton and Republican candidate Tom Emmer, Minnesota Republican leaders say they will pursue the recount until every single vote is counted.
"We believe that we owe it not just to the Republican party and Tom Emmer, we owe it to the state to make sure this is done correctly," State Chair Tony Sutton told reporters Wednesday.
"What I'd like to make sure is that the votes are counted and that everything is done correctly to make sure people aren't being disenfranchised."
Sutton says the party wants assurances that the recount will be done fairly and correctly, but said he does not have those assurances yet.
"Are we sure it's correct?" Sutton asked.
"Something doesn't smell right about this."
As state Republican leaders addressed reporters Wednesday, Secretary of State Mark Ritchie also held a press conference to address the recount.
The real problem here is Acorn Mark Ritchie......
Oh no!! Not another recount! Everyone knows Demos always win recounts. /sar
Ask Norm Coleman how well this worked out for him. Even now Dayton is consulting Al Frankenclown for advice on stealing the election.
Actually, even understanding the depths to which Mark Ritchie would go, I don’t think MN stinks half as much as Nevada. That’s the one I find unbelievable: Dingy Harry by 5%?? NO WAY!
Does anyone know what happened around midnight that caused the huge number of votes to be subtracted?
hennipen County adjusted their count down by 69,000.. Likely dem votes.
One thing Emmer has going against him at this point is that he is down in the count. Franken had to find votes to win. Dayton just has to keep what he has.
Some Twin Cities precincts numbers somehow were reported twice. It was discovered and the totals were changed.
We don't want yet another republican "frankenf**ked".
I'm sort of a super election dork and was monitoring numbers every 15 minutes and I have a huge question mark between 11:45 and 12.
I wonder if Hennepin tipped their hat a little too early here?
This recount will be different than the franken/Coleman one being that I think Emmer will have to concentrate on disqualifying votes. In the franken thing, they could win by "finding" votes after the fact. I think Emmer will be able to prove fraud occurred in Dayton's numbers. Will it be enough? ..... lets hope so!
Hint: Look in Milwaukee. Fake addresses. Fake people. Multiple absentees. Search every Mexican.
I’m sure that boxes of ballots for Dayton are ready prepared to be delivered by ACORN and the SEIU and suddenly be “found” by election officials ...just like they did for Franken.
From this point forward... it is harry “chavez” reid.

Plus, there’s this (From Hot Air): “...Its not the only reason well see a recount. Hennepin County, which includes the city of Minneapolis, originally reported 880,000 votes, even though only 706,000 are registered to vote there. Secretary of State Mark Ritchie, who won re-election last night, had egg on his face as his office had to make a large correction (in favor of Tom Emmer) around 11 pm last night. That alone will probably necessitate a recount, at least in Hennepin...”

174,000 additionally reported voters in Hennepin. 65,000 extra reported votes for Dayton on the Secretary of State’s website- which was conveniently reported very early in the night to influence the election. The same county that allowed felons to vote in 2008 under Soros-pet Mark Ritchie...
Yeah, something really smells here.
Sounds like “they” lost control of the main vote tallying computers, “extra” votes they had stored in the system and they were registered by mistake.
They should look into the areas around the Phillips Neighborhood for phantom votes.
Hey Minnesota,
Hey Republican party,
Why did you both allow al franken to steel an election?
You are both garbage.
And a 58% voter turn out, yet Hennepin county reported 880,000 votes, even though there are only 706,000 registered voters.
Are we to believe well over 100% turn-out in any one county?
Here’s the ‘official’ story.....

There is only 1.1 millon people in that county. 58% of them is only about 555,000 votes. Something stinks to my south (I am in the north metro. Anoka County) and it’s not the Vikings.
also let us not forget the mentally challenged people that where brought in and instructed how to vote in Crow Wing county. I suspect that happened in many places.
