The measure will make San Francisco the first major city in the country to forbid restaurants from offering a free toy with meals that contain more than set levels of calories, sugar and fat.

These people are stupid beyond belief. Kids probably eat more meals AT HOME that go "beyond set levels of calories, sugar and fat."

food justice

The the context of agenda driven policy, "justice" is the substitute word for "dictatorship". Compare with "social justice", "economic justice", etc.

“food justice”
Whenever a leftist talks about justice, it’s never about justice.

Anyone living in SF should be required by enforceable statute and an appropriate civil penalty (best paid in cash) to eat only what people other than themselves say.

Four more years of turd in that pipe.

ALL FReepers that pass through San Fran should start stopping by an Oakland or other outlying area McDonalds, buy a happy meal, and discreetly discard it upon the streets of San Francisco.

McD’s will take care of that technicality.

They’ll offer a free toy to any child who accompanies a parent into the store, meal notwithstanding.

If the S.F. local yokels want to use public money to encourage parents to not make a habit of buying “happy meals” for their children, for “public health reasons”, that would NOT compromise anyone’s rights, PROVIDED the publicly funded ads spelled out those reasons, in factual terms. But, to ban the meals outright ought to ruled unconstitutional.

“agenda of food justice”

Anytime you hear “justice-this” or “justice-that”, such as “economic justice”, you may be pretty sure a Communist is behind it. Those people need to live in concentration camps - THAT would be justice.
