Meet 'President' Hillary Clinton
Politico ^ | 11/4/10 | Patrick Gavin

We all know that Hillary Clinton came close to winning the Democratic nomination for president of the United States in 2008. She wasn't successful, but some people clearly haven't forgotten about what could have been.

The Secretary of State joined New Zealand Prime Minister John Phillip Key and New Zealand Foreign Minister Murray Stuart McCully for remarks Thursday at Wellington's Parliament Theatrette, and the Prime Minister made a little slip up.

"And we, in a purely bilateral basis, have concerns about the fact that Australia has an FTA," began Key. "They’re a very important part of our market in New Zealand, so we see Trans Pacific Partnership as a very important item to be completed if at all possible. So, President Clinton...".

Laughter — and applause — ensued, according to the State Department's transcript, and Key was forced to correct himself.

Yep - though she will be president (by virtue of Obama resignation to move onto the international scene - see U.N.) before the end of next year. She’ll run as an incumbent & Americans will once again fall for the “first women president, historical!” nonsense.

Dream on. She was propped up by large numbers of republican votes towards the end of the primary campaign.

Once again... "Meet President Hillary Clinton" is the title of the Polito article. This is NOT my derire of prediction.

Someone will do Hillary’s bidding as a stalking horse and then she will swoop in to save the day, you watch.

Feingold or Bayh.

“At least she backed down. Obama rammed it through, knowing how unpopular it was.”
Bill Clinton encouraged the dim lawmakers to push this through. Starting to look like he set them all up along with barry for an advantage to hillary.
Given how vindicive they are, and how quiet they are now, that would make sense.

We have to get the Senate and the Presidency, but wwe will have two years max to get it all done. People will get scared and vot the RATS back in. But if the changes are structural, RATS will be disempowered forever.

Hillary was born in Chicago and didn’t go to Arkansas until 1975. Looks like Chicago eats their own.

Yeah, I remember that. All they would have to do is show the steady and ever-increasing decline in our test scores against all the other industrialized nations since the formation of the Department of (re)Education. The result of that boondoggle should be obvious to everyone, even to a Democrat.....

Can Hillary win in 2012? Well, Bill ran successfully against a GOP Congress in 1996, so it comes down to how stupid the typical American voter is. Based on Clinton getting elected twice (albeit with less than 50% of the vote) and Soetoro getting elected in 2008, the stupidity level is high, Tuesday non withstanding. Yes, she could very well win, as people will look at the 1995-2000 time period as blissful, with a GOP Congress and Rat president named “Clinton”. Warm up the Fleetwood Mac tunes.

What a beautiful lady! I can't tell who I am more smitten by: Sarah Palin, Michelle Bachman, or Kristi Noem.

Even IF Ears resigned, there is still the VP, Speaker of the House, and President pro tempore of the Senate, before Sec of State.

Hillary could possibly leap frog 2 spots if Biden resigned and Obama nominated her. But once nominated, the House must vote on it. This would have to happen during the lame duck session, as the Republicans will take over in January. And I can't see Pelosi allowing Hillary to jump into HER RIGHTFUL spot.

Believe me, Biden will “take ill” - have some other reason to resign or switch places with Hillary. She’ll be named VP, then when Obama resigns, she moves in. (The Vice President is the first person in the presidential line of succession, ascending to the Presidency upon the death, resignation, or removal of the President.)

The U.N. SecGen (currently the not-well-liked Ban Ki-Moon) term expires 12/31/11. The world still loves Obama, even if he’s lost popularity in the U.S.
