The White House will, of course, stay in Washington but the heart of the famous building will move to India when President Barack Obama lands in Mumbai on Saturday.
Communications set-up, nuclear button, a fleet of limousines and majority of the White House staff will be in India accompanying the President on this three-day visit that will cover Mumbai and Delhi.
He will also be protected by a fleet of 34 warships, including an aircraft carrier, which will patrol the sea lanes off the Mumbai coast during his two-day stay there beginning Saturday. The measure has been taken as Mumbai attack in 2008 took place from the sea.

I don’t know what the cost is today but when I was in the Navy, early 60’s, it cost $10,000.00 just to take a destroyer from the docks in San Diego to Point Loma. The destroyer base was up a channel in San Diego and Point Loma was on the coast at the entry to the channel. You can imagine the cost today.

Or Indonesian warships.
If any US warships were going to be based there um shouldn’t they have been deployed weeks ago and be there now?

That number of ships would be more than half of the U.S. Navy's 7th Fleet.
Maybe Israel is up to something and Obama doesn’t want to be in Washington when it happens.
Maybe the explosives that were sent from Yemen were not meant to go off in transit but rather were meant to be detonated in various cities simultaneously at a later date.
It is rather odd that the Obamas are taking their family, the entire office, over a thousand SS and FBI, and over one hundred CEOs.

I really think that this is his Swan Song in the sense that he is able to marshall those forces that he has been against his whole life. Think about it: if you hate the U.S.A. , if you hate its military, if you hate the taxpayers who fund the military etc, etc. What better way to flip us off than to draw down the resources of the aforementioned, splurge on an orgy of spending.
I think that’s the extent of it.

Anderson Pooper was talking about it last night. He was wondering if the 200 mil price tag was even true and who leaked the information if it was.
Indian media first reported this.
They probably got it from an Indian diplomat that heard Obama bragging about how much he was spending and how it was really going to piss off all those Tea Party crackers back in America.
But it is usually the leaders not the underlings that get whacked and based on the job Imam Obama has done gutting the U.S. in everything, he is a leader.
This bothers me. Is he taking all of his Czars as well? Will Hillary be coming back? Where’s Bill Clinton? He’s taking his shadow government, all of his staff and the Clintons are out of country too. Plus a small army. Hmmm, well, congress is useless to him now so you just wonder what a narcissist Marxist is capable of. Only a fool would trust him. A total overkill and a huge waste of money. Not to mention placing all of those
ships in such close proximity.

When I moved here (Philippines), I asked if anyone gets hit by one. It does happen on rare occasion, but fatal would be quite rare.
Anyway, I can not imagine him walking around in a coconut grove.
