But independents are very weary of her mainly due to the MSM attacking her
Are you of the belief that there is a viable conservative candidate that the MSM will not ruthlessly attack the moment that candidate is nominated?

Remember folks, there is no “perfect” candidate but take this into consideration, Rubio would help with the latino vote. Also, he would be VP not president, so his decision making “power” would be very limited.

First its hypothetical that Obama beats Hillary out for the nomination.

Rubio I like. Thune not so much.
Other than the fact that he's good looking, I don't see his qualities. He's pretty much accomplished nothing in 6 years. And hasn't exactly been a voice for conservatism, e.g. DeMint, Palin, Bachmann, Pence. To me, from the outside, he seems like a squishy get-along type. But I could be wrong.

Good point. DeMint/Rubio or Bachman/Rubio would be a better choice probably.

Is Bobby Jindal a “natural born” US citizen?
Pissant, what is the actual definition of “natural born” at the time the Constitution was written? Didn’t you discuss that once?

“I don’t want these re-treads from 2008 like Romney, Huckabee or Palin.”
Amen to that. I like Sarah, but I want her as the RNC Chairwoman first.
And PLEASE! Don’t ANYONE give Michael Steele ANY credit for this current run of the table. He’s still an ineffective idiot. And for an idiot, he’s not even particularly USEFUL, LOL!

Jindal was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Thune is imperfect, but better than most of the rest.
What the RNC really should do is make a video compilation of all the stupid things Couric has said, and turn it into a campaign ad for Sarah.

Christie is great, but is he not pro-choice? Chris Christie is pro-life. The issues on which he is a bit of a squish are immigration and gun rights.

Huckabee is the grenade that will blow up the Republican nomination again. In 2008, his candidacy gave us John McCain and killed off other viable candidates. Had he not run in 2008, or dropped out earlier, we’d either have a President Romney right now or Romney would’ve been the nominee last time and out of the running right now. Or, perhaps a Fred Thompson would’ve ascended last time. For the life of me, I don’t get these 20+ percent of Republicans who find Huckabee appealing as a political candidate. He’s not, he’s horrible, and is on path to destroy the 2012 primary season for Republicans.
