NEW YORK (CBS) After a suffering a shellacking in the midterm elections, President Obama acknowledges what many have seen as his chief weakness failing to sell the importance of several legislative milestones to the American people.
I think thats a fair argument.

One could easily argue Obama is a gifted communicator.
A gifted communicator with really really bad policies.
If you can’t articulate your product in a way that is meaningful to your base then maybe it’s the product that sucks.
It’s not as if Barry wasn’t on TV everyday.
What did we not hear 0???? Tell me something we have not heard? This guy is pathetic!
A large multinational dog food company decided to come out with the latest and greatest dog food. They had their research scientists design the most nutritious combination of ingredients, containing all the essential vitamins and amino acids required by dogs. They had the marketing department put together a most colorful advertisement and a catchy jingo was thought up for their TV commercial.
And they spent gobs of money on TV advertising and splashy full page magazine ads. The engineers designed equipment to make this dog food in the most efficient manner, and the packaging department designed a beautiful box for it. The sales force was trained, and every supermarket chain had shelf space devoted to the dog food.
It did not sell.
So the company CEO gathered his top executives together to have a meeting to discover why. He asked each department “Why isn’t our dog food selling?” The research department said there couldn’t possibly be anything wrong with their formulation. Marketing was completely stumped. The sales force was mystified. No one had a clue as to what was wrong.
Finally, after a long pause, a new employee sitting in the back of the room finally got the courage to say “But the dogs don’t like it!”
The end. Woof!
You make a good point that communication was supposed to be his greatest strength.
He probably really uses communication as the metric to evaluate himself, if he really ever does any sort of self-evaluation, which is highly doubtful. He doesn’t seem to have any other standard by which he thinks he can be measured.
The only people left supporting him are either incredibly gullible, incredibly stupid or true leftists who really do believe he is their Messiah. It must be interesting to be one of those people in his inner circle who have their own reputations now attached to this complete and utter poser who is now, as you pointed out a failure at the one thing he was supposed to be good at even with the teleprompter and all the additional aid it gives him.
Yeah he didn’t repeat Hope and Change enough times
What he is really saying is he failed to deceive us!
I favor this one:
ED357Indeed we will.SORRY .
I NEEDED TO REWRITE MY FIRST COMMENT
DAMN
THE 0BAMA STILL DOESNT GET IT ..
WELL HAVE TO COMMUNICATE BETTER TO HIM IN 2012.
"Getting our butts kicked on socialized health care is a big, f&*ing deal."
The comments are excellent:
“What makes a horrible President? Watch Obama and take notes.”
Bravo.
The Kenyan campaigned nonstop and told big lies repudiated by reality.
It is clear that the Kenyan is insane.
That’s a good one!
Obama is giving the mainstream media their mantra—I think most of them believe he saved the country from another Great Depression but the public is just too stupid to appreciate him.
That may be what we're seeing here. A majority of the electorate mistook infatuation for love when it came to the 2008 election. Just as you don't build a successful marriage on infatuation, you don't build a successful government on a whirlwind infatuation with someone who looks "clean" and "new".
Lies, lies and more lies.
Keep talking Obama.....
It was his ‘gift’. LOL.
