Malloy Wins: AP
NBC ^ | 11/05/2010

Posted on 11/05/2010 3:02:50 PM PDT by library user

Dan Malloy has defeated Republican Tom Foley to become the first Democrat in two decades to be elected governor of Connecticut.

The Associated Press on Friday reinstated its call of Malloy as the winner of the governor's race.

The AP initially called Malloy the winner on Wednesday, after Secretary of the State Susan Bysiewicz said her preliminary count showed Malloy had won by 3,103 votes, but withdrew the call Wednesday night when its vote count, with all but a handful of precincts reporting, showed Foley with a narrow lead.

Bridgeport elections officials handed the final numbers over to Bysiewicz on Friday afternoon.

The last precincts to be counted almost always end up being from urban neighborhoods. More often then not those areas favor Democrats. And those are also the ones most likely to have voting problems. They also end up usually staying open late because the line to vote in those neighborhoods are 3-4 hours long...sometimes longer.

Most Republican-rich precincts are from rural areas and don’t have the volume that urban areas do. So they are able to count the votes quickly there with limited problems. The Republican need to have a good lead. Because it’s usually the Democrat that closes the gap towards the finish line.

There SHOULD be a chain of custody involving TPI (Two-Person Integrity) with ALL ballots at ALL times, and the two persons SHOULD be ONE person from EACH party (maybe 3PI or 4PI, etc.)

It ain't f'ing rocket science, but they STILL don't seem to get it (especially WIMP Republicans with no balls to FORCE THEM TO BE HONEST).

I hope that election fraud and new voting regulations will be set addressed by our new congress. !!!!!! My suggestions

1.Voter ID required for ALL VOTERS, PERIOD

2.Proof of CITIZENSHIP when there are questions.

It’s the Iron Rule of Elections. Democrats ALWAYS win recounts. Bush in 2000 was an exception only because the Supreme Court stopped them from “finding” more ballots.

I heard that the DNC/DFL helped frankenturd win by CHEATING using the SAME scumbag lawyers that helped Gov Gregoire STEAL the election in Washington state many years ago.

Wonder if the same asshole left-wing ambulance chasers showed this time in Connecticut (SHOULD be Con,as in,the voters have been conned).

Foley won’t just let this go if there is a remote chance.

And...if the Republican candidate is too spineless to fight for an investigation...then there is really nothing anyone can do. I know that if I voted for a candidate that didn’t care to make sure the election was fair...I’d be furious!!

Soros bought as many Secretary of State as he could. They control the counting.

We tend to play by rules. They believe the only rule is “There are no rules”. Win at any cost, which is easy when you have no soul.

Yeah.

The country-club "R" Pieces-of-S are busy sending the best and brightest lawyers to help RINO murCOWski STEAL the election from a Conservative in AK.
