The rise of the Tea Party movement shows "democracy works ," former President George W. Bush says in an interview to air Tuesday night on Fox News' "Hannity."
"Here's what I see. I see democracy working. People are expressing a level of frustration or concern and they're getting involved in the process," Bush told Sean Hannity in advance of the release Tuesday of his memoir, "Decision Points."
"And the truth of the matter is, democracy works in America," Bush said.

I wouldn’t think so literally. But a great deal of the leftists were outright hypocrites in their criticism of Bush, no sooner did they leave office than they pretty much did what he either did or had plans to do.

I was being honest! I have had great respect for GW Bush, have never said a word against him ever. Yes just in this case I was quick to believe what I heard, mostly because I have heard no denial up until now about what he supposedly said about Sarah.First report of this was in 2009
Apparently he just told Oprah (who I have zero respect for) that “you betcha I will support her” so I may have been to quick to believe...I wait for the denial on Hannity Tuesday night.
As for Laura? She just recently told the world that she is NOT pro life. As stated I have ZERO respect for ANYBODY that is NOT pro life.

There's a reason for that. They are both effective models of conservatism and patriotism, of character and common sense.
And yet some here are falling for a ridiculous attack on BOTH of them by the left.....this silly attempt to dishonor President Bush by claiming he doesn't like Sarah....... people claiming to be conservative. It's sad. But they don't seem to see that they are doing exactly what the left wants them to do.

Well, nobody’s perfect, but Dubya kinda looks perfect compared to what we have now.
GW KNOWS he’s not perfect. He has never, ever claimed to have
all the answers. But...what he has is a deep love for America,
the people who live here and for the troops and that is saying
a lot. He fought tooth and nail to keep us free, safe and
secure in a dangerous world!
He has to be privately shaking his head in disbelief at the
ignorance and disprespect shown by this fake president for

I’m wondering why you think Laura is not pro life. I read her book and I don’t remember her saying anything to that effect.
She is rather more quiet about her religious beliefs than her husband but I can’t imagine her being pro abortion.
