"We know that all of you are looking forward to Keith's return, and so are we."
This whole thing is probably a publicity stunt to boost his sagging ratings... that and, like his butt-buddy Obama, he can’t handle being in the public limelight after such a rousing conservative victory in the elections.
Just because it's in his contract doesn't make it right. That was the first thing we learned in contract law.
The Catholic church "contracted" with their victims so it wouldn't become public...and that "silencing" didn't work out very well.
;^(
give him a siphon hose and 55 gal drum and make him a septic tank cleaner .. he might be qualified for that
It is not a free speech issue. It is a condition of employment issue. The Constitutional free speech issue deals with the “government” silencing or attempting to silence someone.
Much to the relief of his fans...all 6 of them...
0lbermann will return the same day as 0bama.
Right now they’re on a romantic getaway to exotic India.
Keith Olberman does deserve to be removed for LIES he spread on his show along with the rage and hatred that pointed to mental illness and went beyond normal opinion. Likewise, his ratings were poor.
Sometimes I want to hear what the opposition has to say but his and J. Behar's personal attacks and bitterness show they are unable to make a case for their side.
sagging? his show needs a man-bra
I wonder if this is more a cooling off period after the election than a disciplinary issue.
If Comcast reinstates Olberwomann then we will see how they mean to continue.
His 16 viewers will be so HAPPY!!!!
The First Amendment to the Constitution only protects your speech from actions by the federal government and it’s agencies as well as the actions of state governments as far as the 1st Amendment has been incorporated. It doesn’t apply to the actions of others, especially in employment situations. Your rights in an employee/employer situation are basically based on contract law and what ever other laws Congress has passed.
MSNBC is desparate. Did anyone doubt that this was a cheap publicity stunt?
Keith has a medical issue. I bet he warned them that he was going to sue MSNBC under the American for disabilities act. 10 to 1 that is it... I don’t believe this is a stunt.
As a matter of fact Keith’s medical issues is why, I heard, they could not release him. However, donating the democrats was a good excuse to get rid of Keith and replace someone who can bring in a bigger audience.
If MSNBC gets him back, then it will be their loss.
Besides insanity, do you know what Dolbermann’s health issues are?
