Obama was to the Democrats what Watergate was to the Republicans

Actually... worse... a little tid-bit of info that'll not be seen in your local newspapers and TV news programs:

While the Republican gains in the House and Senate are grabbing the most headlines, the most significant results on Tuesday came in state legislatures where Republicans wiped the floor with Democrats.

Republicans picked up 680 seats in state legislatures, according to the National Conference of State Legislatures -- the most in the modern era. To put that number in perspective: In the 1994 GOP wave, Republicans picked up 472 seats. The previous record was in the post-Watergate election of 1974, when Democrats picked up 628 seats.

Obama... the Democrats' Watergate.

H/T to Wheat & Weeds.

Interesting transcription that I couldn’t find an actual news source for, but found it of interest and this thread seems a decent place to stick it.

Sorry to stray off the thread a bit.

And Watergate was just the detonator for a much larger blast, compounded of all the emotional energy of the Vietnam War, the coming-of-age rebelliousness of the baby boom, the general counterculture, and of a more agressive mainstream media that was willing to sell out its principles to get even with it’s nemisis from the Alger Hiss days, Richard Nixon, who got the whole thing right in the old kisser.

Obama is just himself here. He’s not the symbol Nixon was.

At least not yet.

Hey, no reason why we can’t have a Democratic Watergate.

obama IS as corrupt as nixon. Obama has an enemy list, he abuse his power by getting agency to investigate his enemies, he fire ppl trying to investigate corruption of one of his friend, he apply the law unequally based on race, he took over GM and broke the law by screwing the senior bond holders. He use taxpayers money to pay for his expensive honeymoon, he paid a pizza maker to travel from interstate to Washington to make pizza just for him. He signed obamacare that force citizen to buy from private businesses, but exempt a few friends from the damage of this bill

Obama for Demos = Watergate for Republicans

A GREAT analogy - one that will sting the lefties. Use it!!

He’s also responsible for the constant frivolous lawsuits against Palin in Alaska, costing taxpayers millions. Obama is abusing his power

Obama’s operative was also responsible for watergate-like activity, spying into Palin’s email account. He’s not responsible for it? Yea, yeah, likely story

I thank God for John McCain and Obama.

Were it not for an addled old man and an effeminate third worlder, America would still be asleep.

And 2012 will be just as bad. Actually, knowing the Marxist King as we all know him now, probably much worse. How could he possibly make it better ? He has very little actual real life business experience in his cabinet or in his House of Czars.
