More like anti-Semitic leftists. Rachel Corrieites.
Over there, burning somebody’s olive trees is a seriously wicked act. Olive trees live a very long time, many hundreds of years. You destroy a man’s heritage when you destroy his olive trees.
This has been done for centuries, the burning olive trees and grain crops. Olive trees for example, one would conceive that with no irrigation needed, you don't need to really fertilize it; it goes through its own cycle, every other year it produces more flowers that turn into olives and therefore the potential for us to extract more olive oil. It is very resilient. Let's say there is a fire, it has the ability to grow back. Let's say someone wanted to cut it down to damage the property of an ancient city--as sometimes during war it was threatened "come out and fight or we are going to destroy your cereals, olive trees, and vineyards." It's very tough to cut it down; you can't do it that easily, and even if you cut it down it has the wonderful ability to regenerate itself and in a few years there it is again growing and producing olives. It is absolutely wonderful as a plant species. Further, its dead branches or segments of its body may be removed and used for fuel. Even today the majority of the people in the historic villages of Crete prefer to cook with olive tree dead branches or stumps because it burns slowly; it doesn't flash up in fire, and therefore they are following an ancient tradition that we call "slow food cooking." It's healthier.
>>caught burning olive trees<<
Gosh, I hope they save a few branches for Obama to pretend to offer the Republicans.
Yes it is, and for some reason NONE of this behavior is condemned either by the media or the UN. Gee, I wonder why not?
Abortionists, Leftists and Muslim cultists are given carte blanche to commit whatever crimes against humanity and nature they so desire - all with the blessing of the despicable UN.

A group of 8 international activists along with 3 Palestinian members of the Palestine Solidarity Project accompanied the Aady family to their land on the hillside opposite Bat Ayn, on the outskirts of the Palestinian village of Beit Ommar. The land is marked for annexation by the settlement, and is frequently subject to settler violence. They worked for three hours, burning off and cutting down brush and unwanted trees. Their intention is to prepare the hillside for replanting of 2,000 olive trees.
I was wondering, it is unknown for Palestinians to burn down olive trees, it is considered absolutely haram, forbidden and they sure wouldn't do it in broad daylight.
