Obama's Fort Hood amnesia
The American Thinker ^ | November 7, 2010 | Phil Boehmke

On the first anniversary of the Fort Hood massacre, Barack Hussein Obama and an entourage of 3,000 left Washington D.C. for India. As Mr. Obama and his fellow travelers were racking up $200 million a day in expenses, a solemn ceremony honoring the victims of Major Nidal Hasan was keeping the faith at the Central Texas army base.

Not willing to believe that the president or the White House staff could be so callous and disrespectful as to simply blow-off the soldiers, civilian staff, police and families whose lives were forever changed on November 5, 2009, I searched the whitehouse.gov website for some proof that the commander in chief really does care. Among the ‘Statements and Releases’ was the ‘Weekly Address: President Obama Calls for Compromise and Explains his Priorities on Taxes,’ the ‘Statement by the President on Diwali’ and a ‘Readout of the President’s Call with the SanFrancisco Giants.’ Not a word anywhere about Fort Hood.

Here's more evidence that the Illegal is both a bitterly anti-American terrorist supporter and dumber than a bag of rocks. Instead of going to Ft. Hood to commemorate Hasan's atrocity and support the survivors, he and his accomplices jetted off on a $200,000,000/da. junket to a pleasure dome in India, with nary a word about the atrocity and the sacrifices of our brave military. Indeed, he didn't even have the basic political common sense, let alone the human decency, to honor a Latina solider who prevented a far worse atrocity, FTA:

If Mr. Obama had gone to Fort Hood to honor the victims, their friends and family and the survivors of Major Hasan’s attack he would have been on hand when Sgt. 1st Class Maria Guerra was honored for her actions on that fateful day. The Dallas Morning News reports that Sgt. Guerra was honored for securing the front doors of the medical processing building during the attack and then organizing the other nurses and medics to help treat the wounded.

Privately, many lefties like Obama quietly applauded when the Ft Hood Massacre occurred, just like they did on 9-11.

Their only complaint was that more US soldiers should have been killed.

The left HATE everything the US Military represent, especially honor and commitment to country.

JMO..

Adding insult to injury, he and the wife tossed petals on Gandi’s grave in India. He had time to honor INDIA’s martyred people, but not the ones that AMERICA lost.

It is not just quietly. Ray Charles could see through them. Even with all their “care” about the Troops lives wasted, everyone, especially the Troops know they are full of Sh!t!

“how much one is really proud of the United States” IMO your
on point and your point was motivation for the “natural born citizen” qualification being added to Article II.I agree with the Founders one cannot be a dual citizen ,or citizen from another country and be proud to be an American.I will remember those killed and wounded in the name of “diversity” by a man
loyal to his bloody religion of HATE.

Easy to see how Obama thinks about anything— his known history shows anybody who disagrees with his desire of the moment is stupid, or partisan, or the enemy. Even with Lincoln Obama picks and chooses what to remember -and what to remind us of.

the Northern slaveowners were able to keep theirs.
________________________________________________

There was no slavery in the north...

Thats what Dred Scott was about...

A white Southern slave owner took his black slave Dred Scott to a northern state...

Scott claimed freedom since he was now in the north...

The southern packed Supreme Court denied his claim as his owner had ownership rights in his southern state...

States rights came into play...

this was just a few years before the Civil War...

I forgot about Nov 11, Veterans Day...

I dont think any other president real or imitation has ever been out of the country on Veterans Day...

Its traditional for the POTUS to lay a reef at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier on Veterans Day...

and to attend ceremonies at Arlington...
