Atlanta, Georgia (CNN) -- When Kevin Murphy entered as a freshman at Mount Holyoke, a Massachusetts women's college, in 2003, he was female. By the time he received his diploma, he was male.
Phillip Hudson, who attended Morehouse, an all-male historically black college in Georgia, calls himself androgynous, meaning he doesn't identify with masculine or feminine identity norms.
The two men represent a debate that is brewing at some of the nation's same-sex colleges. For these colleges, which have historically defied boundaries and challenged the status quo, a new test of tolerance has surfaced: How are they handling gender identity?
Defining gender on same-sex campuses has become murky as some students say they fall outside the conventional male-female gender binary. More schools are encountering complicated cases where not all students at men's colleges identify as male and not all students at women's colleges identify as female
The diversity of gender expression comes in many forms, from individuals who consider themselves androgynous or nongender-conforming to students who are transgender or in the process of changing their sex. Transgender people are often defined as those who do not identify with the gender they were at birth.

Political correctness turns confused people into freaks. All of this sophistry about changing men into women is just more idiocy.
That's all it is.
It still amazes me that such a small population gets so much attention. No one can really change their gender, they can approximate the opposite sex through painful and dangerous procedures that will ultimately shorten their lives. I believe it is malpractice to butcher people in such ways and feed into their personal delusions and insecurities. It is unfortunate that in order to satsify radical gender nonconformity politics that people who could find peace through learning to merely think differently are set on a path that turns them into a permanent sexual sideshow freaks.
What is especially horrible is their own self mutilation is not enough they wish to mutilate the law to elevate their sideshow status to a honored position in society as if their phalic disorientation makes them not just different but even superior to the super majority of people who do not share their gender confusion.
Is it really necessary to make a decision on this?
This affects virtually no one.
I never could get the transgender thing. I know a few folks who were dudes that became women. Not bad people, but I definitely don’t get it. One became a woman and is living as a lesbian...with a real lesbian. Another is a nurse...has a lot of funny stories though.

Okay....one of you two please explain this to the “Genius”!
Was He a She when it went to the all Women’s college? Or was She a He? I am so confused! If she was a He then why did a Woman’s college let in a man?
So what if a man is “androgynous” and goes to a Men’s college? androgynous? Just like “It’s Pat” from SNL? Correct?
I think my head is going to explode!
